Card of the Day for October 11, 2018
The High Priestess
Yesterday we focused on the outward-facing energy of The Magician and took steps to manifest our desires in the physical world. Today's focus is the balancing energies of The High Priestess. She perceives, feels, empathizes, and creates. This sets the tone of how we relate to this week's creative energies from the Ace of Wands and this month's reflective energies of The Hermit. Focus on activities that help you tap your inner wisdom such as meditation and journaling. You don't need to look to the outside world for what to do. You already know those answers; you just need to listen to and trust yourself.
I’m a bit of a reclusive creature, so this is the first time I have posted pictures of myself on this blog. Last fall on one rainy and foggy day my friend and I wandered up the mountain to the waterfall to take pictures and breathe in the cool, misty air. It was a very calming experience.
Spent the day in this beast Saturday. Never was a fan until then. Incredible machine. One of the last Huayra coupes to ever be made out of the 100 that Pagani quoted. Only the 3rd Huayra in South Florida. The Roadster is next and then it’s successor. Can’t wait. Horacio Pagain is truly a genius.

These are good to make for Imbolc as the represent the Goddess Brighid, who was later referred to as a saint in the catholic community
A Reflection of Faith
I've been growing in my faith quite a bit over the past few months, securing myself in my pantheon, finding what path I'm meant to walk, and discovering what that can mean for people around me. I didn't grow up in a pagan household, I actually grew up in a very Christian household...a Catholic household. Now, I'm not saying anything is wrong with these faiths, they just didn't work for me. The more I think back on what I used to be, I see how much I've improved. Church was an obligation, a requirement, not something I truly enjoyed. Going to ritual or holding rituals of my own is something I genuinely look forward to but a lot of people don't seem to get that. Now that most people know that I follow the Celtic Pantheon, I get lots of questions, lots of comments, and lots of misunderstanding. A few members of my own family don't know what I practice because, well, being a Celtic Witch isn't something I'm sure they'd be prepared for.
One song that really makes me think about this is "Go Away Godboy" by S.J. Tucker and makes me feel a bit more....secure knowing I'm not the only one that deals with people constantly trying to convert them. So...I'm going to clear a few things up about myself. I'm sure none of the people that have messaged me or asked these questions will be here but....eh.
1. Just because I follow the Morrigan more closely than the others does not mean that I'm going to kill you and it does not mean I don't acknowledge the rest of the pantheon. I'm still seeing who I'm comfortable with.
2. No I will not curse anyone for you. I believe wholeheartedly in being the hand of karma....but this is on a case by case basis. If I get information wrong it might bite me with backlash. So....yeah.
3. I will not make someone fall in love with you. Love spells are immoral. Inviting love into your life? Sure. I'll help you with that. Making a specific person love you? Nope. Not what I believe in, sorry.
4. I do not sacrifice animals or people. Jeeze.
5. I do not worship the devil, satan, or any variant of that guy. Do I believe he exists? Sure. I believe all of them do and we just worship them under different names. Don't say "Aha!" though. It seems to be only Christian faith that demonizes the entity that gave them free thought.....Odd.
6. Pagan. Is. Not. Wiccan. I love some of my people, but introducing me as Wiccan repeatedly when I've corrected you is annoying.
For now, that's all. I just felt like actually making a post since I seem to just reblog fandom stuff and different witch stuff....Yep. That's it.
Feel free to discuss different things that people have said to you that annoy you, or things they have assumed.
