The 20-teens were a very productive time for me, artistically. I learned a lot of technique, pushed myself to do better with patience and detail, and put a lot of effort into finding opportunities to show work.

Now, in the middle of the 20s, things are pretty grim (locally) for art opportunities. One extraordinarily awful woman pretty much single-handedly destroyed our local arts council, and I don't know if it will ever return to its former strength. Other issues have prevented me from producing as many paintings as I used to.

I miss it. Don't know if things will ever pick up for me again.
