Would your OC ever take advantage of someone's romantic feelings in order to manipulate them?

Many of my characters would never do this. But I can think of one that does it often!

Yumi is extremely manipulative. But look at her, she's adorable! She knows it and uses her deceptive frailty to gain favor over others and use them. If someone has feelings for her, that's even worse. She would drain them of their worth and get everything she ever wants out of them. With absolutely no remorse.

Has your OC ever been the object of someone's affections that they did not (or could not) reciprocate?

I think it would almost be disrespectful of me to interpret G'raha's feelings as purely platonic, so let's talk about him! For him, it's a really tragic case of arriving too late. He's playing his Crystal Exarch act all through Shadowbringers, and though he harbors truly deep feelings for Johnny, he can't act on them then.

When they finally resolve the situation on the First and return to the Source, G'raha is finally free from the burden of his duty, but he finds that Johnny's heart already belongs to another. Despite the fact that he's yearned for the Warrior of Light for decades, Johnny's own closest friend over the past few years of his own life has been Tataru, and that difference in perspectives really can't be overcome.

G'raha takes it well, of course. Though Johnny doesn't find out for quite a while, G'raha has several shoulders among the other Scions to lean on for support, Alisaie being chief among them.

A Starlight Introduction: Admin Prim!

Happy holidays! I'm Admin Prim (@primamchorus), organizer of the Starlight Initiative!

I've been looking more and more forward with each passing day to the start of the Weekend of Gift Giving! Especially as someone who spends a lot of time actively and passively farming stuff in-game, and, as a result, just seems to have a number of little goodies stashed away to hand out to those that would want them!

In addition, I love to craft, I could craft all day if I wanted to! So I'll be at the event, not only open for questions or concerns, but to help the rest of our lovely Little Helpers (some of who you'll get to meet through this blog over the course of time!) with getting things crafted for your enjoyment! :>

I'm also more than willing to help out with deep dungeons (I finally have a full Palace of the Dead clear under my belt, as well as eight Heaven-on-High ones!). I can also help out with things like Eureka and Bozja as well! Or maybe you just want to farm Extreme and Savage content, I can do most of those, too!

When I'm not in-game, I pursue a lot of different creative outlets. One of the bigger ones lately is that I've been writing a lot. Though, I do like to draw as well, I enjoy GPosing, and I've even been dabbling in making gifs of my characters! It's been a fun experience setting them up and getting even little scenes played out between each of my individual shot set ups!

I am also decidedly very annoying on my main blog (@paintedscales; funnily enough, I never really saw myself extending outside that bubble when I returned to social media!) about my WoL and my ship there. My WoL and the ship I have for her tickle my brain good and give me warm fuzzies, what can I say?

Also! I'm just going to be answering these as a comprehensive list and not send out more. I'm really really sorry, I just don't want to send more to people I might have already sent this to. Just know I appreciate each and every one of you and my inbox/messages are always open if you want to chit chat more!

Also Also! I'm just going to be answering 12 things that make me happy, a nice happy medium also cuz my brain like to freeze up whenever I try to think about myself and my interests. (T _ T)

1.) My mutuals OCs! Seeing the love poured into each character and the unique takes everyone has done to fit MSQ/character dynamics to them is so cool! I know we aren't all a hivemind and we won't like all of the same characters, but seeing you all uplift and be supportive to one another helped me be more open and post about Ishi.

2.) Coffee. I am a caffeine fiend and I have done my damnedest to recreate a lot of the drinks Starbucks has released at home. And I will say, I make a mean Lavender Cream Matcha. If you think you can't make something like that I'd say don't be afraid to try. You might surprise yourself.

3.) Monster High. I was in high school in conservative, small town nowhere when they first released and my parents didn't feel the need to buy things that weren't necessities. So now that I'm an adult and enjoying things I never got the chance to when I was younger I have 5 Draculauras hanging up in my bedroom.

4.) My cats. I know I said Animals already in another post, but I don't care. I have four fur babies and they are so special to me, I'm currently living in a really small semi-beaten up apartment because any houses for rent where I am have pet limits and I am not going to abandon two of my cat's just so I can live in a slightly nicer but exceedingly more expensive house. It's not a perfect place to live by societal standards, but it's ours and my boys are everything to me.

5.) Music. I am expanding my music horizons, but for the most part I still listen to a lot of the music I did as a teenager. Linkin Park, Killswitch Engage, Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, etc. But I do try to find more independent artists that emulate a similar sound to my old favorites; Mallavora, From Ashes to New, Aviators, Magnolia Park.

6.) Gonna move away from physical/material things for a sec. That feeling you get when you get done cleaning a room and you sit down, take a deep breath, and just smell the clean.

7.) The satisfaction of finding a new recipe and nailing it on the first/second try.

8.) Seeing people be kind. I know there are horrible things happening in the world right now, but seeing seemingly small acts of kindness get's me teary eyed. A person rescuing goose eggs from a pond and returning them to their nest. A man picking up trash from a forest creek. Somebody getting gifted a plane ticket to go see their family in another country or having a family member show up to surprise them. I'm honestly getting misty eyed just typing this out. I'm just a really emotional/sentimental person.

9.) The fact that I have been able to keep a single plant alive for more than a week. My partner and I got a potted plant at a baby shower for his boss almost a year ago and that little guy is still kicking.

10.) Giving compliments to people when I'm out in public. I never got a lot of positive affirmation as a kid so whenever I see someone being unabashedly themselves and just wearing their style proudly I like to let them know they look good and that they're killing it.

11.) Finishing a game that had me emotionally invested. Lookin' at you Persona 3: Reload.

12.) Seeing my friends in person after not hanging out in a while. Being an adult can be lonely and people have responsibilities in their own lives that they have to put first before leisure and friends. So actually finding time to be together with the people I love and being able to hug them is super important to me.

11 ⧽. if you were to rewrite Sacred Wine with Kitali/Estinien how do you think it might change?

Oooooooh so I had to really sit with this one for a bit (apologies) but there would be no confession directly. Kitali would have to find out on her own. Estinien is a deeply private person so it's not something he would ever bring up of his own accord and the only way I can see it happening is if she caught him in a vulnerable moment, maybe if he'd gone too long without being able to feed and was starting to visibly be affected by it.

In any case, the "But I'm a monster." "So am I." exchange would still happen as is. And I think that it would hit a little harder with Estinien because he and Kitali are so similar, both being dragoons and having wrestled with the same inner dragon.

It wouldn't be a sex thing (at least not at first) but it would certainly be a trust thing between them. And it would be an excuse for physical contact and sharing space with each other. They're both people who simultaneously crave physical contact and have an incredibly high requirement of trust before it's granted so it would work out well for both of them.

And if it were to be a sequel to Sacred Wine, then.....it would definitely evolve into a sex thing.
