You discovered at a very early age that you could pull people’s souls out of their bodies when they were on the brink of death. You first did it to you mother as she slipped away due to illness. you hold their life essence in your chest and it feels like a  flame. It could feed you forever. because of it you can draw out your life. so long as you linger like a vulture over the nearly dead and swoop in at the right moment you can get a few extra years add to you life. And if there’s an extinction event you can get enough fuel to last you eons.

THE NECROMANCER - you know they fear you and honestly you don’t blame them. you feel you deserve to be feared and frankly it’s flattering. but you know that if they can just get past their childish worries and see that you two are so different you could be a powerful duo. maybe even powerful enough to topple the ruler once the job is finished.

THE RULER - you have every intention of overthrowing the ruler once the flood comes, they will do the dirt work and channel the spell. and you will reap the rewards, kill them, take their soul, and then take their place as ruler. and you are certain they have no idea, you think you are far to clever for that.

THE HERETIC - they make you laugh and you haven’t laughed in so very long. granted you are laughing at their expense, but whenever they look at you in questioning you try to brush it off. you don’t want them knowing that you actually think their life is a joke, but sometimes you can’t help yourself around someone so absurd.

Dashing, daring, gallivanting. People would often use those words to describe you, and some would use less kind words, they might even add in some inappropriate hand gestures. But you can’t be at fault for the fact that you were born poor. And despite what some might grumble, you do work to survive, your work just happens to be stealing. You aren’t a bad person, and even though you do get a rush out of being chased, at the end of the day it’s not just your mouth your feeding.

THE INSPIRER - you could hardly believe it when you saw them. it was like being hit by lightning in the best possible way. not only were they beautiful but they had a smile that lit up your soul. you know it’s too soon to say you are in love but you really really want to say it. 

THE WARRIOR - your best friend and comrade until the very end. you met when you were young and ever since then you have been getting each other out of bad situations. they save your ass during a fight and you help them find their way down from a rage. you just click. 

THE ARCHER -  they kind of weird you out a little bit. but you try and laugh it off.  you tease them and joke around, trying to break that facade and see a little bit more of the normal and fun side underneath. but so far you have been unsuccessful and the longer it takes to make them act like a person the more you worry they might not be.
