Inspiration under the cut!
I’ve always been interested in how love manifests itself over time, changing and growing like plants through different seasons in the year. I find myself coming back to examine and re-examine the TodoBaku ship because I see it turning out in different ways: in one route maybe they don’t end up together at all, in another maybe they find they are partners for life. In my head, it always shifts and wavers with time. The progression of the story this particular playlist tells is “casual acquaintances/friends with benefits” -> “maybe I have feelings for this boy…” -> “OH SHIT IM DEFO IN LOVE” -> “no matter what happens we will always be there for each other”.
Moreover, I really like incorporating symbolism and identity into things I make, so I molded the music around seasonal symbolism (plus it fit the prompt that way and prevented me from making “crush” playlist lol). This is definitely based on my music taste, but I see both of them listening to a lot off this stuff, too!
