Been having a lot of fun playing Amber Isle, so I decided to make my little Paleofolk, Melia, Owner of Ocean-Feather General.

She's surprisingly soft-spoken for a Parasaurolophus, who are pretty well known for the sounds they make. Whether this is simply personal choice, or something deeper than that, she really has no interest in telling. Shrewd isn't quite the right words to describe her, but she definitely isn't the type to give you a discount just because your friends. After all, she has bills to pay, and an island to roar back to life. This doesn't mean, however, that she won't die for you outside of work. That is, of course, if your her friend.

She actually holds the term "capitalist" that people throw at her as a badge of honor, after all; the more amber she gets, the richer, and better the island becomes.

I tried to mix a little bit of the game's art style with the slightly more "realistic" anthropomorphic style that I'm used to drawing. Cause you know me, always gotta complicate things, lol.

Anywho, I've been having a lot of fun with the game, the loop is really fun, and the fact that I kinda have to remember what a lot of the things I make are made from to properly barter, and the fact that I can haggle is genuinely really enjoyable! Makes me wanna find more games like this.

I love the video game Amber isle, and finally made this little doodle of my favorite character from the game. Ezra the spinosaurus! I drew her as a more realistic dino.
