Happy Friday. So as I post things on my Instagram I do it to motivate you not to gloat on my achievements. I use IG to keep track of my progress also. So you can only imagine after two babies my goal is ultimately to get my core back in shape. (Yes,I’m still at it and it takes TIME.) There have been lots of questions about my hernia, and I will be doing a video on that soon to give you a progress update. But more so this post is focusing on how I’m learning to eat. I recently got a blood test done to identify what I am allergic to. I do this once a year because it helps me know what I should and should not be putting into my body which is HUGE for your fitness journey. If you are constantly eating foods that your body doesn’t like then that can cause a lot of health issues. In 2020, I can honestly say limiting gluten has been the biggest game changer for me. I can eat gluten all day long and not have bad adverse effects like allergy reactions. But when I do eat it am extremely bloated, sluggish, and I’m tired. By cutting gluten out I have lost a lot of weight. I do still have gluten on my cheat meals,at times. Breakfast for me is one of my favorite meals of the day. Being that it’s my post workout meal I try to make sure it has everything needed to replenish my body from that workout along with holding me until lunch or even later. My biggest breakfast food is amaranth and sometimes gluten oatmeal.. while they say gluten free still has gluten its the same thing as organic still having some pesticides. But I’m taking the initiative to at least try to get the healthiest version of the food that I’m eating which is really proven to pay off. So to conclude I’m getting fitness gains definitely by my diet. My workouts have not changed that much I’m not in the gym all the time and I’m doing my at workouts ...900 and counting but as you can see I’m still staying very fit.
