Symbolism: What does writing mean to you? How has it impacted your life? I suppose it sounds like a bit of a cliche, but writing really does mean everything to me. It allows me to express myself in ways that I can’t necessarily say or articulate to a real person. It’s very freeing and it’s very satisfying to craft something from nothing - especially as it’s the only real talent I have! It’s helped me through a lot of very tough times and given me confidence that I otherwise wouldn’t have. It really is a lifeline. Tone: Why do you write? Do you write for a purpose or just for fun? My ultimate goal is to be published somewhere down the line, but for the moment, I just write to tell stories. I write to let the stories out. I write the stories and the characters that I needed when I was younger, in case there’s someone out there now who needs them too.
