*cracks knuckles* WE’RE BUSTING OUT THE 2008 ERA DISCOURSE TONIGHT

alright SO THERE ARE THESE TWO cats named brambleclaw and squirrelflight and they have a kinda on and off thing for each other during the second series. squirrelflight has a fling with ashfur during one of the “off” periods.

brambleclaw and squirrelflight do eventually get together for real and so ashfur gets dumped. which is good because he was an overly possessive fuck anyway.

now the decent thing for someone to do in that situation would be to respect that squirrelflight can slam whoever she wants and move on but ashfur ain’t a decent guy. he gets mega pissed off.

so here’s a list of some of the horse shit ashfur did because he got dumped and was bitter about it:

makes a lot of shitty comments about brambleclaw being untrustworthy (his dad was a bad guy from the first series)

was involved in a plot to murder squirrelflights father that almost succeeded. (it only failed because the other evil cat involved got impaled through the throat with a stake but that’s another story)

beats the shit out of a literal child (squirrelflight’s son) 

tries to murder squirrelflights three kids because he “wanted her to feel the same pain he felt”. keep in mind that this is fucking. years after she dumps him. 

turns out that they aren’t really her kids (another long fucking story), which squirrelflight tells him to try and save their lives.

ashfur is like ok i won’t kill them but i’m gonna tell all the clans your secret and fucking ruin your life lol

and then he gets murdered and dumped in a stream. warriors is a trip, man.

anyway the whole discourse was whether ashfur was justified or not lmao.
