The Republikkkan "Rich Tax Cuts Bill" is going to kick about $1.1 million people off of our nation's anti-hunger program - permanently!!
Just as low income folk are facing stagnating wages & a skyrocketing cost of living - both due to Rump's tariffs/taxes.
Some 42 million people people - 40% of which are children - will face strict work requirements!
And States will have to pay for some part of the program.
Which will lead to further SNAP cuts.
Most States are now setting up a 3 month countdown in which to comply.
Or, they'll lose these benefits entirely!!
NY, California & some other States have waivers lifting work requirements in places with high unemployment.
Then, there's the Legal immigrants.
Tens of thousands who'll lose all access to SNAP & get no help in the future!!

For now, these folks can only reapply for this service...
Though, Rump's administration will probably add a lot more red tape to the procedure, making reapplication nearly impossible!
To make things more worse, most low income folks are also up against other Rep made problems, namely:
• Millions of US families will lose their Medicaid funds.
• Immigrants & refugees will no longer access healthcare thru the Affordable Care Act.
Add to this all the high prices for food, rent & utility bills - forcing many to use charitable food networks to get their meals!!
But, even here, Republikkkans have already cut $1 billion dollars in federal funds for food banks & pantries.
These organizations bought over 300% more food!
Even refugee resettlement teams are now offering more emergency options for food security.
But, all of this isn't nearly enough.
Just during the Shutdown, the number of folk needing food rose to 50,000 a week!!
And there's little these food networks can do against such rising numbers.
Right now, SNAP buys 9 meals for every one provided by food banks...
And we won't know the full extent of the damage Republikkkans caused - for several years.
