Alec Ryder

Where is this speculation that Dad!Ryder favors Sis!Ryder coming from? Did something get released or talked about?

Papa!Ryder has been named, and all I can think of is "GDI, this is my third fucking fandom with a significant character named Alec!" (Alec Ryder in Mass Effect Andromeda, Alec i Amasa in Nightrunner, and Alec Lightwood in Shadowhunters) This is gonna get confusing, lol.

Okay, so the trailer voice has been confirmed to be Papa!Ryder, which a lot of people have identified as Clancy Brown. I looked him up, and while I’m not all that familiar with his more recent stuff, after enough scrolling I came across his voice work in an older fandom of mine.

He voiced Wolf and Hakkon in Gargoyles.

Does anyone else have like, expectations about the Ryder family that they KNOW are completely unreasonable, but are still setting themselves up for disappointment?

Because I’m about 99% sure that Papa!Ryder proooooobably isn’t going to be like Emilio Vega from ICOS. But maaaan, I really want him to be.

Okay, so

I think I may base one of my Ryders off of Hsin Liu Vega from In the Company of Shadows.

Not in my first playthrough, partially because I want my first playthrough to have a female protag, and partially because I want to wait and see what the dynamic with papa!Ryder is going to be like... But if the rebellious vibe I’m getting from papa!Ryder is accurate? Then oh yes. Definitely making Hsin.
