Considering how much negative stuff was floating around the game at release time, I am enjoying a whole lot of it so far!
I really *REALLY* wish they had kept Dad!Ryder around for one whole mission past the first though. I *know* it would have locked the squad to 2 people that you couldn’t change but as far as setting up personal angst for the next 2 (I hope) games it would have been BRILLIANT!
Have your Ryder clash with Dad!Ryder over command style, deciding priorities or Sibling!Ryder medical care decisions. Would you flirt with (LI name here) in front of Dad!Ryder? See how much of a bad ass an N7 is while you are flailing around doing your best but barely able to keep up! Have a terrible argument or touching reconciliation right before the helmet bit! Make a memory shard be *from a mission you did together* that had choice consequences. I know why they didn’t but I *really* wish they had gone down that road.

Ryder would go on to further prove his mettle by completing N7 training, solidifying himself as one of the Alliance military’s elite.
