It's been more than a year since I have left my hometown and moved to the so-called sunniest city in Germany to attend university and start a new chapter in my life. While I can't say that it's been the easiest journey, it has definitely helped me find out more about myself and the person I want to be. Adulting turns out to be such a struggle and I have found myself crying and down a lot of times this past year. To be completely honest there are times when I feel like such a failure, questioning what I am even doing with my life and the choices I've made so far.

I'm turning 21 today and I hope the new year will bring lots of happiness, self love, passion and excitement for all the things to come. I know something might go wrong on the way but I hope I won't be too hard on myself and start to put myself first once in a while too! Let's learn to love ourselves and be happy :)

Uni began just this week here and while it’s weird to be back, it’s also quite nice to get into a routine again! Me and a friend went to enjoy the autumn sun and explore some alleys, bookshops and cute cafés before the uni stress gets too much. It’s crazy what you can find when you don’t stick to your usual routes and busy streets :)
