Here are the rulers of Paradisa themselves, King Poseidon and Queen Amphitrite

They are thousands of years old, and are unaware of when their birthdays are, and there's a reason why, I shall explain.

Lore Of Paradisa

Warning: The origin story of how Paradisa came to be involves graphic topics like forced acts of sex, rape, animal cruelty, massacre, death, and highly graphic abuse. If you are sensitive to these topics, I suggest you not read this, I am valuing your feelings.

Thousands of years ago, there was this island continent known as Paradisa, it was a beautiful and tropical saltwater paradise. The main animal that resided there were the Paradisan Eagles, they were truly a remarkable species. While being mainly eagles and flying is what they did, the eagles were pretty big and had the ability to hold their breath for a long period of time and swim in the water. It was an idyllic life for the eagles, but one day that all ended…

A lizard from the island continent Lizardtopia got shipwrecked on the shore of Paradisa, and while wandering he came across a dead body of one of the eagles. The lizard knew he should eat something while stuck on the island so he took the corpse and roasted it. As soon as the lizard bit into the roasted eagle, his taste buds were filled with wonder, the eagle was the most delicious meat he ever had. The lizard eventually managed to return back to Lizardtopia in Lizardtopia’s society for his skill of butchery, the most common thing in the lizards’ culture. He told the other lizards about the eagles and their meat and they all wanted in on it, especially the all-powerful Rudiger Tongueguzzle.

Rudiger, along with his cronies, arrived back on Paradisa where they hunted and captured every eagle and turned Paradisa into a mess of toxic industrial facilities, polluting and damaging the island. Rudiger and his workers decided to make the eagles beasts of burden first because of how large and strong they were. For years the lizards worked the eagles to death and treated them cruelly, when one of the eagles did die they were cooked up for food. But, because of the harsh workload the eagles got, this caused them to suddenly evolve! Their wings got bigger and located to their backs, they got bigger, their legs became longer, they grew arms and hands, a feather hairdo, the ability to talk, and an upright posture.

Because their enslavement of the eagles inadvertently caused them to evolve into an anthropomorphic race, Rudiger changed the rules. Instead of typical beast of burden jobs, there were new jobs divided for the later known as Paradisans. You see, another thing that happened when the eagles evolved was that their DNA got warped where the female Paradisans couldn't produce infertile eggs anymore, they needed impregnation. What was made was that all fertile Paradisans were forced to have sex with each other multiple times for the female Paradisan to produce eggs, while all the infertile Paradisan were forced to eat large quantities of food to become fat and plump for larger meat.

For years it continued like this, eventually the fertile Paradisans would die of either egg laying or an STD while the infertile after they did get fat, they would be executed. However one female Paradisan, named Clova, had a son who she named Poseidon, some eggs were spared from being used as food to keep the population up, while another female named Nerissa, had a daughter named Amphitrite. One more thing about the evolution where if a Paradisan was infertile, they would have a red mark on their left shoulder, to at least save him from getting an STD and a worser death Clova faked a a red mark, so Poseidon was force fed large quantities of food throughout his life. Meanwhile, Nerissa was extremely weak and had deteriorating health from so much forced sex, she was eventually pulled away to which Amphitrite never saw her again…

When both Poseidon and Amphitrite grew up, unlike other Paradisans who were terrified and submissive of their lizard slavers, Poseidon was assertive and rebellious which led to the lizards torturing him into submission but it always failed. Meanwhile with Amphitrite, while she was still living a life of misery having to have sex with multiple males to produce eggs, she struck a friendship with another female named Zora. One thing both Poseidon and Amphitrite had in common was that they were both dreamers, Poseidon ended up befriending Paradisa’s native aquatic wildlife in secret while Amphitrite wanted to find love

One night, they both snuck out and came across each other, and it was love at first sight. They both told each other about their awful experiences and after hearing Amphitrite’s story, Poseidon felt even more determined to liberate everyone from the lizards. Almost every night, the two would meet each again, while Amphitrite wasn’t there Poseidon went down the shore every time and, there the animals would teach him many things about the water. Which lead to him giving himself an ability to control water, he practiced every night with the animals until after all that hard work gave him the ability of hydrokinesis, eventually, Poseidon taught Amphitrite the ability, Poseidon asked Amphitrite to help him liberate everyone from the lizards but Amphitrite was too scared to do anything against the lizards and Poseidon wouldn't do it if Amphitrite did do it.

Things soon took a turn for the worst as Rudiger found out two Paradisans were having an affair. He ordered a bunch of the fertile females and males to be killed to find out who it was, and sadly to Amphitrite’s horror, Zora was next killed. Heartbroken of her best friend’s death, Amphitrite came to Rudiger and confessed that she was the female of the affair. And out of pure spite, Rudiger sadistically had his men GR Amphitrite, scarring her for life. The next day, Amphitrite was sent to be executed for her “crime” but Poseidon, who heard about her execution, came to the scene and attacked everyone with his hydrokinesis.

After Poseidon came to her rescue, Amphitrite finally had the courage to stand up against the lizards and fought beside him. Rudiger was attempting to get the upper hand but Amphitrite, after everything she had been through and in a fit of vengeful rage, trapped Rudiger’s head in a ball of water, drowning and killing him. Both Poseidon and Amphitrite encourage the other Paradisans to rebel against the lizards, where they all successfully overpowered them. Poseidon soon led the Paradisans to a life of normalcy and destroyed the factories and brought back life to the continent, both Poseidon and Amphitrite became king and queen and the Paradisans created their own society, finally free of the lizards. For thousands of years Poseidon and Amphitrite used their hydrokinesis to replenish their bodies, which in turn caused them to live on for thousands of years, mainly in case if the lizards struck again.

However, thousands of years later, Garnak Cutthroat, the descendant of Rudiger, felt angered by the rebellion of the Paradisans and wanted to bring back the “glorious” Paradisan meat. Blinded by his delusions and his disturbed family legacy, Garnak gathered his minions and they all went to Paradisa. They arrived at Wavecadia, the wavy shoreline city and proceeded to slaughter about 23 Paradisans. Eventually the two rulers and armed government forces arrived and thought Garnak and his minions, the battle ended killing Garnak’s best friend Lox, much to Garnak's horror, he ordered his surviving minions to retreat back to Lizardtopia. Despite what happened, Garnak, grieving Lox’s death, became extremely hellbent on wanting to murder more Paradisans…

See, I told you all despite it's cute and innocent MLP-looking appearance, Paradisa ain't sunshines, cupcakes, and rainbows! Anyways, let's go into notes about these two.

Both are severely traumatized from being enslaved by the lizards, and it's best not to pissed them off, or threatened their loved ones or people. Because she had it worse, Amphitrite is especially a bear you don't wanna poke, because of what she went through Amphitrite has on and off reclusiveness, she will sometimes wear a cloak with her eyes not showing, and if you are a lizard wanting to do no good towards the Paradisans, were eyes (Because of the hydrokinesis) will turn red and she'll inflict watery vengeance on you!

The reason both Poseidon and Amphitrite have lived for so long is because the use their hydrokinesis to replenish their bodies (I've seen enough Avatar and Bionicle G1 to know about water magically healing people)

And what do you mean by loved ones you ask? Poseidon and Amphitrite have three kids, and it took a while for them to have children because Amphitrite was still scarred. The kids are oldest son Prince Triton (Like in Greek mythology), younger son PJ, aka Perry Jack (After Percy Jackson, my sister LOVES the Riordanverse), and only daughter Delphia.

Since they were both without last names at the start, they came up with "Nautikana" as their last names (It's a play on Nautical and Arkana)

Another aspect of Amphitrite's reclusiveness is she has her own private lagoon in the castle courtyard she hangs out for solitude and relaxes in

Moving onto something not involving the trauma, Amphitrite makes visits from Atlantis to Vapor Pura to the Verdigris Visions Spa, which is owned by none-other than Luna Cerulea, Desiree's mother, both have a friendship

Also I got inspired by Aisha's Harmonix from Winx Club for Amphitrite's outfit

In Paradisa's story, both are a neutral force of characters that will play a key role in the Garnak plotline, but despite that they are fair rulers
