hey! i love your work so much. i was wondering if you still did stuff for xtale? if you did, i was wondering if you could maybe do a headcanon for how xgaster would confess to reader. (who holds mutual feelings?) idk. this is honestly hard to see for him so i completely understand if you do not want to take this request!

Not to worry, this isn't really that out of the question for him as you would think! Or, as far as I'm concerned anyway. He does possess great admiration for Ink, after all, so it doesn't feel impossible to me to see him express interest in someone else, too.

I think XGaster would honestly be the type to do something very extravagant -- but knowing him, it would also have to be perfect. He would probably spend an endless amount of time trying to put something together as a way to express his feelings, and frankly it'd probably be more likely that you'd figure out what he was trying to do before he managed to actually bring his plan to light. He would be very disappointed when you figure out his plan before he can put it into action, but I'm sure since he already cares for you greatly that you'd be able to say basically anything in thanks and he would be content.

I do, however, think XGaster would struggle to say many direct things related to love, such as "I love you"s or anything like that; and they might come off as more insulting than caring. He doesn't know how to sugarcoat anything around you, despite being a very good manipulator. But, in a way, I think him being wholly honest with someone he cares about, in his mind, would be the most loving thing he could do. It's just that the truth is not always the thing you want to hear, so it can make him pretty difficult to talk to.
