She's working with sparks, but wearing short sleeves. Wouldn't that burn her arms? (Unless she has a spirit that protects her from burns, like Forge)

She refers to Max in third person. Why? Who's she talking to? (Me thinks Forge, who noticed Max before her because they were in his spirit world)

PJ for the holiday traditions hcs

I feel like he's so used to traditional Christmas celebrations, and then the Corner Store gets a bunch of those novelty Christmas candies ("Reindeer Poop", "Santa Butts", and those weird Archie McPhee candy cane flavors like sardine and hot dog), and PJ is just. Enamored. He makes Max try every single type of candy, and it turns out the Caesar Salad candy canes are the worst and the Mac and Cheese candy canes aren't terrible??? Also the "Snowman Butts" are blueberry flavored and also turn your tongue blue, and PJ thinks it's hilarious that Max now has a blue tongue.

Random PNAT theory: The super high ghost/spirit population, Max’s second spirit, and the ‘Event‘ are all linked. The event in question is the destruction of a very powerful spirit/wight in a manner that seeded the town with spiritual power instead of draining it, causing it to be fertile ground for more ghosts/spirits to pop up in, and Max’s second spirit is a remnant of that original being.
