Headcanon that some male Omegas hate being called mama and softly request to be called different forms of Daddy because it makes them uncomfortable and they feel terrible about their gender because they start feeling really shitty when their referred to as ‘momma’ or something similar but everyone keeps doing it until the Omega hits a breaking point and shuts everyone out. ((Saw this a while back and I support the angst possibilities))
Hello!!
If anyone has some ideas on what to call a male Omega parent who doesn’t want to be called “mama” or “mom” etc, please add on this post! I came across a list of names a while a go but I don’t know where that went. Since, I don’t remember tagging it????
Hopefully, the others will listen to this Omega and call them the appropriate names. Also, when children are growing perhaps, they’ll say things like, “Go to [name]” if they refer to themselves as such, children will pick up on it.
and who doesn’t like some angst? lolol
First time writing omegaverse and I don't know how to call the omega parent. It's a m/m relationship and I don't feel comfortable using "mother/mom/mum/mommy" to describe a man, but using "father" for the alpha parent and then switching to a variation of "father" is making sentences hard to read. Help? This is probably a dumb question, sorry!
Hello!
It’s not a dumb question! Not at all!I came across a blog a long while ago with different ways to call their parents and other family members, but I do not remember what the blog was called. Maybe, if another student knows what I’m talking about they can reply to this post.
I read a story where the child just called one Father and one Dad. Or Pops.
I can see it becoming hard to follow. But, I think if you keep it consistent and only have one parent be called Father and one called Dad and never changing those, it could work. I hope.
ASTERID MARCH…!!!!!

gender neutral parent names if ur like me and worry ab this
LGBTQ+ parents and intended parents can often struggle when it comes to deciding on the names that their children will address them by. Whet
A quick talk on/example of non gender specific parent names:
So my friend asked me if he never finds a guy to marry and we ended up adopting children (as I want batman and adopt them all) what would they call us. Without breaking eye contact I immediately responded with ‘I’m the captain, your the lieutenant’ he opened his mouth to reject it but then just was like 'that’s actually pretty accurate’. I am the captain.
**Don’t worry I assured him that he would find the man for him and I would be relentless aunt/uncle person for his children and show them napoleon dynamite and give them sugar and keep them up past their bed time.
