Sometimes I see Shane's speech patterns on Sara's tweets and I just melt a little
‘do you want to drive over to your uncle’s house, carpool with us to your grandmother’s, drive back with your uncle bc we’re staying in wisconsin, THEN drive back to your place also btw we’re leaving an hour earlier than needed bc we have to set up’
or
drive it by the fuck myself, choose my own music, pick up beer on the way home, and get to sleep in an hour HMM I WONDER WHICH I CHOOSE
Gold Forever
Some days will always stand out to me more than others in Paris. Spring Break will definitely be one of those times. Having my parents in Europe was a dream come true. I mean, who doesn't like it when other people pick up the bill and buy you new towels? (not that they aren't already doing that, anyways...)
Since it wasn't my parents first time in Paris (Mary: 4th, Rick: 2nd) I had the opportunity to show them a truly unique view of Paris. MINE! There was no eiffel tower, no notre dame, no sacre-coeur. However, I had a wonderful time showing them my neighbourhood (Montorgeuil say 'what?!') and what I do on a daily basis as student here.
I think the most important thing for them was to be able to have these experiences so that when I say I'm off somewhere or to do something they can picture in their head where I am!! so sweet.
We discovered new markets, went to Versailles, met with old and NEW friends, and had a generally merry time. While it was even harder to say goodbye, it won't be long before they have me back in my arms and I'm just trying to not let these last 9 weeks slip right through my fingers.
pictures can be found above this post!
Pretty Please!!
I really want to move to St. Joseph's but mum and dad won't let me. I really want to go but my parents have said no and I've convinced them to think about it!
