haha same here but it was def one of my favs anddd sometimes they have some special exhibits going on. and the dinner was a hugeee highlight for me while I was there. the guy is really nice and you meet ppl from all over the place.

yeah, it sounds super cool. definitely gonna insist on the museum, and at least try for the dinner because it's just such a nice idea and sounds so fun.

I loved Versailles! And when I went it was pouring down rain and I got soak, but it was still my favorite memory in Paris! don't get too excited about the louve, when I went there the bathrooms were gross and it was so crowded it was summer tho so...

i'm afraid it's too late to not get excited over the louvre, i've heard too many good things. and tbh i've had less-than-stellar experiences with bathrooms in general in europe so i don't expect too much in that regard, haha. versailles is gonna be awesome though for sure.

you should maybe try the Luxembourg gardens well that and notre dame and other huge monuments

notre dame is on the list, but good call with the gardens! will have to add those to the list.... which at this point is probably already too long. i should plan and prioritize this now probably.

You have to walk along the Pont Neuf bridge, by the love bridge. There’s these awesome green boxes that sell awesome things!

i'm not a fan of love locks tbh, because the locks get removed later anyway,and also are not so pretty and especially very heavy, they've actuall caused structural damage. though that's kinda beside the point because the Pont Neuf isn't a love bridge.

the green boxes you speak of are intriguing, and the bridge sounds quite nice, so there's definitely a good chance for going there

I’m just gonna chime in (again :/) and say that the Eiffel Tower at night was one of my favorite things to do in Paris. So so beautiful.

haha, you're probably right, i shouldn't let an old dream influence me too much. plus you make a great point that it's something to do at night as well so i don't have to worry so much about fitting it in during the day

I've heard of this thing people like to see there; it is called the Eiffel tower, cool huh?! Lol jk. Never been, always wanted. Have an amaaaazing time, and make sure to eat lots of baguettes and brie, bc cheese and bread make this world better

hahaha, i may've heard of that one once. ;) tbh though while i have no object whatsoever to tourist destinations with culture behind them (there is a reason people come to see stuff because it is awesome and as long as you are respectful being a tourist is nothing to scoff at, it annoys me when people do that) i've been to the tokyo tower several times and though less glamorous by far the general design isn't that different. i mean there's lots of differences but i dunno i'm not sure if it would be worth the lines to me or not

then again my hesitation may just be because in middle school i had a dream about visiting the eiffel tower and it was super-boring.

the cheese is absolutely a go - nothing like warm melty brie. i've honestly never been a huge fan of baguettes but i will certainly experiment with them in paris!

There are excellent lingerie stores in Paris. Third the idea of buying a perfect baguette, iberico ham (which we can't get in the US), unpasteurized cheese (also can't import), a nice half bottle of wine, and sitting in a park to picnic.

i'm not exactly standard size so the lingerie may be difficult but definitely worth a check, i don't really have any really nice ones. and the picnic sounds lovely if we can manage it. :)

If you like classical music then you should out la cité de la musique! It's a super underrated museum and it's so lovely. ALSO. if you happen to be there on a Sun check out Jim Haynes' Paris dinners. Have a good trip though!!

ooooh, yes. i know pretty much nothing about classical music but that doesn't mean i don't love it. and sunday will be the second night there - this sunday so it may be impossible, but i'll ask my parents if they're up for it because that sounds kinda lovely.

If you like looking at swords and coats of armor and canons and things, the Musée de l’Armée. Also contains Napoleon’s tomb, super-cool!

omg, yes. and that's something my sister will definitely really enjoy too, so it's perfect if the disney thing does go ahead with the others.

Just adding something on Montmartre… There’s a lot of painters and it’s a very touristic place,so be careful because they will try to sell you their paintings all the time .They’re usually gorgeous,but absolutely overpriced.

though i do love buying art for myself. i cannot guarantee that i will be able to resist the temptation to buy something small at least at some point. even if it's just a print of something i see in a museum that i really like or whatever
