Metalheads & Animals Part II

A while ago, I made a post about metalheads with animals. Since 2016 has been a rotten year, I thought I would revive it to prove to us that there’s still good in the world. 

Let’s kick things off with Clemens Wijers of Carach Angren with a very cute cat.

And what about his brother Ivo with his pet pig Toepaii?

Robert Engstrand previously of Turisas also loves himself some cats.

Marc Hudson of Dragonforce volunteers with small animals. Here he is with a bunny named Pillow. 

The people of Lacuna Coil love animals like you wouldn’t believe. Ryan Folden, Cristina Scabbia, and Maki Coti-Zelati are huge softies.

I don’t think I could make this post without talking about the Jesus-like Kobi Farhi of Orphaned Land and his lap cat Siso.

Chris Rörland of Sabaton can’t choose whether he’s a cat or dog person. Good thing he doesn’t have to pick.

Frédéric Leclercq of Dragonforce is a friend of all animals.

Idan Amsalem of Orphaned Land loves his tiny dog.

Elvenking’s Davide Moras usually is a cat person but he cuddles dogs too.

Johan Hegg of Amon Amarth has always been vocal about his love for cats, but it’s nice to see it too!

Nergal of Behemoth likes to hang out with animals too!

Wardruna’s Einar Selvik is also a horse kind of guy.

Jocke Johansson of Twilight Force prefers the company of sheep.

I think it’s fair to say that the guys from Equilibrium are partial to dogs, as demonstrated by Robse Dahn, Hati Refaeli, and René Berthiaume.

Or maybe not...

Deals Death’s epic frontman Olle Ekman will cuddle just about any animal.

Starkill boasts a very proud cat mom with singer and guitarist Parker Jameson.

Some people prefer flat-faced dogs. Delain’s Timo Somers and Varg’s Freki certainly have no shortage of love for them.

My favourite kind of people are by far the people who make dumb faces on their pictures with animals. Thankfully Leander Köteles of Leander Kills exists for that!
