Introduction

Hello, friends! Since I’m going to be sharing my Lego comics here, I wanted to share a little bit about my process and where the figures and scenes originate. Because I do not align with JKR’s political views, I have stopped purchasing any branded Harry Potter merchandise (on this page and always—TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS). All of my Harry Potter lego collection comes from pre-2018 Lego sets, used sets from people getting rid of their collection, or from non-Harry Potter sets entirely. While I am back posting a few older comics (hence the mention that Percy is missing in The Sister comic even though I now have one made for him), a great example of this is my Percy Weasley minifigure:

While the Hogwarts robes (for Head Boy Percy) comes from a used set, the rest of his minifigure (head, hair, and muggle outfit) is from non-Harry Potter Lego sets (see also: Bill and Charlie Weasley and Fleur’s minifigures). This allows me to not only have fun without giving any money to a TERF but also create characters based on my own headcanons for them (for example, Lavender Brown, as will be shown in my next comic).

Lego building instructions are free on their Lego Builder app. Since I have such a large Lego collection in general, I have made several sets or pieces from recent sets only using pieces I already have at home (hence the frequent color variations).

Get ready for August 1st!

Perceptual Prompts is back for the summer, with the challenge running from August 1 - 31, 2023 this year (a little over 1 week from now!). As a refresher, this challenge is themed around perception and the 5 senses (ie. touch, sight, sound, smell, and taste) and encourages creators to use various prompts to make fic, art and more. A few updates have been made to the Guidelines and FAQ pages, so please take a look for 2023 general challenge info, as well as details for the timeline, creating/submitting works, and more. Some minor changes for this year are as follows:

>> Creators can combine 2023 prompts with any 2022 prompts. >> Accepted creation types have been expanded to include microfics, poetry, origami and bookbindings for the challenge!

Prompt cards will be officially released on July 23rd (just hours from now)! If you have a question that isn’t covered by this post or either of the above pages, feel free to send an ask!

This story has not only some of the best sex scenes, but character development (pansy's arc, i want to melt thinking about it), gorgeous prose, and one of the funniest OCs I've ever encountered in the fic universe (poor jonathan 😂).
