PARROT LADY HAS HER PARROT TODAY
Today in interesting people who come to work: The chief of the fire dept! Sweet.
Then last week we had an old lady come in limping, with a bandage around her right leg. She was in the ER the night before for wounds- animal bites rather, caused by her 25 yr old parrot that threw a fit in her kitchen.
She’d adopted the bird when it was 9 years old, and it usually roams around in her house. Normally she gives it white cheese as a snack, but she had run out, so she handed it a piece of cheddar instead. The parrot was unamused by this gesture; bit her and started speaking slurs! Apparently the previous owners had taught him a few choice words, haha.
So now she invites her girl friends over for tea and the bird has to sit in it’s cage, which he’s not happy about. The grandmas are shocked when they come over and the bird hollers a barrage of very colorful language at them from the corner of her living room.

I like ladies that walk nonchalantly into a cafe with a large, colorful parrot perched on their arm! hahaha! Fuck dogs in purses!
