parsing is the funniest programming topic because the answer to any question is always "you need more recursion"
Friendly reminder that parsing is ok so long as you use it for personal growth, or to help someone grow!
On the other hand if you use parsing to throw shade and bad judgement on someone get fucking gud at being a decent human being you ass for brains. No one gives a literal fuck about your parse other than if its' decent enough for their static and the like.
Using it to test out rotations and to try and beat your own parses? Someone that ASKED and wants the help and checking to see if they are improving? That is good! That is fine!
Especially if they or you are so new that you're too shy to use stone sky sea due to the chance of other people being around.
Do not EVER use it to harass or be a piece of shit.
Be. Fucking. Nice. 🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪

Character parsing Rob's character thorons character, & void (Draft)
So. Here's what I want to clarify: Rob is a mistake in all plans.
Take a look at part of "the one," where Darwin analyzes Gumball's emotions and feelings. We see Joy, Sadness, Fear, Optimism and Him.
And now for the pony episode, in which Rob confronts G and D. He was even a little angry when he pointed out to the guys that they did not even remember him. And he remembered this for a long time ...
I mean, Rob seems to be too… attached to people. Reacts too strongly to something. We assume that his emotions are not working correctly. This was the first reason to shove him into the void.
2) This is, of course, his role. As I wrote above, the reason this happened is that Rob was present in Gumball's life, but did not do anything for him. He was not a simple third-rate character, or a character whom he did not notice (like Clara), but exactly the person he knew about, but had no connections.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
+ I want to point out that Rob had a role. This is the role sidekick for Tobias. He was like Darwin to Gumball.
Moreover, it was directly said and shown in the cartoon. (I will try to find a photo)
And it turns out that everything fits.
Rob was friends with Tobias (Gumball's enemy, or certainly not a friend);
Not important to Gumball;
Was subject to emptiness as much as possible;
Moreover, Rob is the only one who independently remembered the void.
And the world, judging by "Darwin's School Album. Clayton", did not completely erase the memories of Rob, because we see him in a flashback
Here. It's all. For now.
Well, needless to say that every plan of Rob is directed mostly towards the fact that Rob himself would suffer?
Putting a bomb on a bus will probably explode with it, because he was on the bus and was
Destroy the dam - drown with everyone
Throw the remote control into the void - stay forever alone
(and he himself says that he has a place in the void)
On purpose, or without realizing it, he puts himself at high risk, as if he himself understands that he is doing terrible things, and hurts.

I've been sorting this out with other people from the discord, so please, those who took part in this review, mark yourself up.
Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana.
Moreau chains the Devil, or describes said chaining, in The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996). There results the odd snout, claw, or hoof in the sublime quest of the good/very weird Doctor, but hey. Marlon Brando quite boggles the mind, and David Thewlis projects unconvincedness to the Nth degree. A hugely underrated film that is really only recently getting its due.
Thewlis becomes, if possible, even more unconvinced, as he wildly proclaims “This is the *most* OUTRAGEOUS spectacle...”, “Look at these people!!!!”, and such. Brando has seen it all before, and patiently allows David T. to vent.
Hmmm.
Deep thoughts being had, of a devil-chaining persuasion.
Unconvinced. Openly skeptical.
Why the skepticism?? Well, let me thoughtfully parse it out.
The String.indexOf Second Argument in JavaScript
Using indexOf is a very common operation in Javascript. Though a little known feature is that indexOf can start searching from any point in a string. At first, this seems like a feature purely for performance optimization. But it useful when doing more complex cases of string parsing.
The following replaces all content between 2 tags (containing anything) within a string with another string:
function replaceTaggedContent(contentString, repeaterTag, replaceWith) { let newString = contentString; let index = 0; while (index < contentString.length) { const startIndex = newString.indexOf(repeaterTag, index); // No point in continuing, there is nothing more to replace. if (startIndex < 0) { break; } // No point in continuing, there is no second string to match. const endIndex = newString.indexOf(repeaterTag, startIndex + repeaterTag.length); if (endIndex < 0) { break; } const endPoint = endIndex + repeaterTag.length; newString = newString.substring(0, startIndex) + replaceWith + newString.substring(endPoint); index = startIndex + replaceWith.length; } return newString; } const result = replaceTaggedContent( 'BEFORE-@should replace@-MIDDLE-@should-replace@-AFTER' , '@', 'REPLACED'); console.log('After :', result); // BEFORE-REPLACED-MIDDLE-REPLACED-AFTER
Arguably, this can be done with regex though at that point the tags would need to be escaped and the expression would look quite complicated. This is also relatively easy to upgrade to other scenarios like supporting replacing a list of words corresponding to the index of the current replacement.
