Her preferred place was against the wall. Perhaps the only reason she was still at the pub was because the effort it would take to walk through the place was too much at the moment. Her finger trailed against the stem of the wine glass on her table. With her back against the wall, Serena felt safe to conduct her business. She had been aware of some sort of celebration happening at the Three Broomsticks, but she didn’t expect so many students to be able to sneak out so efficiently.
Glancing around, she only watched a few patrons before turning back down to the small notebook in her hand. Scribbling down some of the information she had gained that evening at a meeting, she blindly grabbed for her wine and took a sip. The Italian ignored the person sitting down across from her, hoping they’d simply leave. When they didn’t, she turned her eyes up, looking indifferent.
