Emma looks worn out and distant. She stops at Elena's door, hesitates before she knocks. For a long moment, she just stares at her sister before she let's out a sound like a cracked, broken laugh. "Why do you want everything I have? Can't I just have one thing for me, for myself? Do you have to take everything?" She doesn't sound angry, just empty. And with a long look to her baby sister, she turns to leave, wiping at her face with a shaking inhale.
± The blond was never slow about answering her door, nor never mad that the time it may be. Initially, Emma looked like shit; maybe not getting enough sleep, getting sick, mental health drained.. a combination of the three. It had been awhile since Emma had been back, so when her sister started, she looked confused and concerned at once.
“Emma, wait. There is something wrong. And you aren’t leaving till I can try to do something about it.” She insisted, open her door more as she caught her wrist. “Please.” She didn’t know if this was all about her or not, but a problem one way or another. She had needed money from her now and again, in which not one Gil was wasted, though otherwise, she doesn’t see her sister often.
Certainly, not as often as she wanted. She was ready to go downstairs and brew some drinks if needed, maybe Reno being off just long enough to save the favor in her place, Emma one of the few she would talk to for hours on end. Thier relationship hadn’t started right, but it never meant it had to remain that way.
Now that she understood Emma better, and better of had really happened, she was ready to try and help any way she could. It would hurt, but that was okay. Otherwise, she feared it may otherwise just revert back to how things had been before: and she was the only thing she had left.
