It's hard for me to even put into words how amazing this weekend was. I've never traveled to two cons back to back on the same weekend but for these legends? For my two favorite TMNT series? Absolutely. Such a beautiful, joyful, totally unforgettable experience! What an honor!

The first episode of Galaxy High School aired on September 13, 1986. In the first episode, Doyle Cleverlobe and Aimee Brightower were transported to Galaxy High. The two students had very different experiences. The first episode was written by Home Alone/Harry Potter director Chris Columbus. He had already written Gremlins, The Goonies, and Young Sherlock Holmes before this aired. ("Welcome to Galaxy High" Galaxy High School, TV Event)

I was just thinking of TMNT and wondering if there was a Krang in the new movie. I used to love Krang. One time when we were recording an episode, I happened to mention TMNT and our guest actor started speaking in Krang's voice. It was Pat Fraley, voice of Wiggy Jiggy Jed and (it turns out) the O.G. Krang!

You never know who you're going to run across, and that was a treat for me. Krang was almost certainly an inspiration for Hector Con Carne and Boskov. He's just so gross but.. .huggable. Honestly, all of the TMNT characters from my childhood were pretty great.
