What you think about Leila and Bran? (The sillies😔)

Diristine Here!! So Patch is simply my Leila rewrite. I wasn't a fan of her character and well, here's Patch! They are DV's younger sibling that he would kill for, and got contained by the Foundation for about a year or so (prior to them finding an instant means to escape via Way) hence his VTuber Channel dedicated to the anomalous world! Now Patch breaks containment so often theres just, no use in trying to keep them contained.

Too much manpower put towards a silly guy with opossums, so now Void is just running his channel on principal at this point.

Also, Patch has never met Bran! In this timeline he is a demonic entity who made a deal with Void and now is just chilling in the man's head. He doesn't wanna go back to Hell so he kinda just extended his contract with Void with the sole purpose of vibing. Plus there was no epic end battle seeing as Patch broke containment and found Void before it could happen.

I loved this question though! Gave me a reason to yap about the differences between the canon Void universe to mine. Aka, the only universe ever since the actual channel started using AI smh.

Patch was captured by the Foundation on their way to one of their gigs with their band, sure they did their best to get away but theres only so much you can do when you get shot with a tranquilizer.

Initially the Foundation caught them due to multiple sightings of them working different jobs at the same time, they assumed catching one wouldn’t stop all of them but rather maybe give them a better idea on how to stop them. Which immediately proved false as overtime the Patch sightings disappated, as Patch’s movements were founded upon the fact that they use everyone’s lost time whether they want it or not.

The lost hours you get sleeping or doom scrolling? Patch gets every second of that lost time that they can put to use working, yet somehow theyre still broke even with all that. Truly, Patch isn’t aware of the fact theyve been functioning on both lost time and normal.

When it came to containment, it turned out Patch didn’t just function off of lost time but things that were lost in general. If they wanted a phone in containment, suddenly they found someone’s lost phone underneath their mattress. Lost socks and snacks? Patch had them.

This ended up causing a multitude of low-level breaches as Patch proceeded to appear in areas that were “lost” to the Foundation. Such as finding scp-055, finding Atlantis, finding Iceberg’s lost bag of flying fucks, finding scp-055, figuring out where the McDonalds in the Foundation was, finding lost seconds in a breach to slip out of their cell, taking one Dr. Glass’ lost sleep as their own, finding the amnestics, locating the memories of D-Class personnel, finding scp-055, finding where the O5s hide, finding the lost internet connection, finding Kondraki’s whereabouts, finding scp-055, finding scp-055, finding Clef’s last fuck, finding the location of the Montauk house, finding Clef’s heart, finding [REDACTED], finding scp-055, finding Clef’s lost stash of hallucinogenics that they promptly got high on, and many more incidents over the year they were there.

The Foundation tried telekill alloy amongst other things to keep Patch within their containment but nothing seemed to work, as long as something or somewhere was lost, Patch would be able to make it there one way or another.

Paired with the fact that one Detective Void was on the rise looking for his sibling, it didn’t look too good on the Foundation. Other GOIs had started to place pressure on the group to either kill Void or release his sibling (turns out his pact with a certain demon proved him to be nearly impossible to kill as he kept escaping and coming back like a cockroach with a vengeance). Especially since he was beginning to convince the public (granted, mostly conspirators) of their existence, it was ripping seams in the veil that they all coveted and found comfort behind.

In the end, the Foundation simply put a tracker in Patch and let them free. Now simply monitoring their movements and how they interact with the world, seeing as they arent inherently hostile or dangerous it is one of the few anomalies allowed to roam freely in the world.
