Above is the start of a Critical Analysis i did of two different articles that brought attention to the same thing in different ways. (The links to those two particular articles are at the bottom.)

As a Witch myself it was incredibly enlightening to find out more about what others who name themselves as Witches think of how we are represented in the media. 

Whilst i agreed with them on many points, for instance; How witchcraft is NOT abut worshipping Satan, and how black and white Magick aren’t at all what people think, i also agreed with a few points too.  Those being that Witches are horribly misrepresented.  There is not enough on television showing the REAL Witch, only the stereotypes.  After doing some research i found it incredibly difficult to find anything that presented The Threefold law or The Deities, or even The Wiccan Rede accurately. 

After this critical analysis i have come to the conclusion that Witches are simply too misrepresented in the media and it is high time that we were presented as equals to any other religion.

The white culture wars are about the ’60s — the 1860s

"Can white evangelicalism be saved?" is the wrong question. The question now is "Why should it be?"

The “culture wars” are treated here as something that started, sui generis, in the 1970s, rather than as something that started in 1619 or — at the very latest — 1865. Which is to say the entire category is confused and misconstructed as a series of battles over “moral” or “social” issues here in America that have nothing to do with racism. This is the framing used by the white religious right — the pretense that their massive organizing against “the 1960s” is more about Woodstock than about Selma, merely about the innocent defense of “conservative values” and not at all about a Second Redemption to overturn the Second Reconstruction of the Civil Rights Movement.

Nope. The complete list of moral and social issues in America that have nothing to do with racism is that there aren’t any.
