Optimus Prime by Patrick Thornton
Just the parents of Trollberg vibing one quiet Autumn evening.
We like to think that Johanna soon makes friends with a lot of them. Trevor's mum (who we've taken to calling Chrissie) is a friend of Emma and Patrick (David's parents) who doesn't see eye to eye with Johanna but she would still try getting along with her for Emma and Patrick's sake, and they'd find some common ground eventually.
Rachel (Frieda's mum) would've already adjusted to Johanna, her lifestyle and the fact she's a single parent way sooner. Maybe sometime during series 2.
I recently acquired this old TF guidebook from 2001 because I love guidebooks and think this is the rawest cover art known to man. But because it's by a fan artist in an unofficial capacity who doesn't seem to have an online presence 23 years later, if I wanted to have a clean copy to hang in my home I had to scan the book itself.
I've tried to clean it up best I can, fix the clearly photoshopped badge and slap on my preferred trade dress. Patrick Thornton, if you're reading this, I'm sorry at my digital hackjob of your masterpiece and would buy a proper print of your original work. Or even the original work if it was done on canvas. I know nothing about the state of digital painting in 2001. Thanks for the best image of Optimus Prime I have ever seen.
The book itself is very cool too, very much a spiritual predecessor of the stuff I've been making for years. I wanna track down the whole bunch.
