This might be “childish,” but I LOVE dress up games, especially historical and fantasy ones. I’ve played several on Picrew, Azalea Dolls, and Doll Divine, but I want more. Does anyone know any specific and/or peak dress up games?

italys just like me fr like actual anxious wreck
THANK YOU for acknowledging Italy’s insecurities
Now introducing… my Hetalia AU/rewrite:
Useless Italy is basically Hetalia if I had control of the cast. Most of the characters are relatively the same, but different events within the story are changed to be more historically accurate.
The AU is mainly centered around Veneziano, Italy, a kind but arrogant man who finds his nation trapped in a fascist regime. As war he is NOT prepared for approaches, he’s forced to work with Germany, a stern and wired man determined to prove his superiority, and Japan, a soft spoken but tenacious diplomat.
I’ll explain other aspects of the AU later on!
Ok but like. The concept of patton's role is just. Fundamentally so fucked up.
He's the inner child and the inner parent at the same time. He's their paragon of innocence but he's also their strict moral compass. He's in charge of thomas's long-term memory- his nostalgia, his regrets, his longing for the past. He's the embodiment of all of thomas's emotions, good and bad. He's both the source of and subject to thomas's overwhelming sense of guilt. He's the man upstairs but he's just your dad knocking on your bedroom door but he's also the teary eyed kid who's kneeling at his bed and telling god that he's sorry.
Like holy fuck man i'd turn into a really big frog too
Alright, fellas, I don’t know how to introduce this so I guess I’ll just say it. I have a Hetalia rewrite/AU where things are more historically accurate and more sensitive topics are actually taken seriously. I ALSO have my own country giginkas that are quite different from their Hetalian counterparts.
Which do you want to see?
I want to see your Hetalia AU!! 🍝
I want to see your nation gijinkas!! 👀
I WANT BOTH 🗺️

i feel like 90% of conflicts with characters and shipping discussion within the hetalia fandom is coming from the fact that people who like the anime hetalia and people who like HISTORICAL hetalia dont understand how they are talking about two completely different things.
Anime Hetalia fans are like the diehard canon defenders who say everything Hima says is the holy word (except the stuff that is for some reason not canon anymore like the old p3do panels), while historical hetalia fans usually say „fuck canon“ and rewrite the characters until they are completely different because canon makes no sense.
I‘m not saying either side is right or wrong. Hima fucked up a lot of historical stuff and obviously what I just explained is a spectrum. I have a feeling that people subconsciously argue with people who are on the other side of the spectrum AND theres different interpretations of canon AND of historical events so thats another reason for infighting, but I feel like a lot of hetalia debates can be explained with this.
what do you think?

I think there's a lot to be said about the fact that out of all the times Janus impersonated Patton, only once did Thomas and the other sides notice something was wrong with their friend.
Back on this because it’s STILL not talked about. When Janus is discovered in CLBG, it’s not even because Thomas realized something was wrong with Patton. Janus practically gave up impersonating him when he didn’t get his way; he revealed the ruse himself. Before that, Thomas and Roman (who was aware of Janus’ existence) had NO IDEA what Patton’s issue was. Virgil and Logan were aware that “Patton” was likely Janus in disguise, but chose to stay quiet. If Janus had accepted defeat in a somewhat cheery or accepting manner, no one would have addressed the possibility of his influence, and he would still get away with impersonating Patton to this day.
I don’t know where RusCan came from (aside from that singular scene of Russia sitting in Canada) but it sure is cute
There are so many, but I'll go with 6 for Germany, please. :)
🔍is there something about them you think isn't as recognised as it should be in the fandom? (a personality trait, relationship with another character, historical time period that isn't explored much with them, etc.)
Ludwigs age and how it impacts his ability to connect with others.
Age wise he is neither a member of the cohort of older European nations that surround him, or a member of the New World cohort of younger nations in the Americas. He exists in this isolated middle ground that has often left him feeling like he looking in from the outside.
Despite years and years of complicated relationships with one another, there is a sense familiarity that ties together geographic neighbors who have "grown up together". They might not always be best friends or have even semi normal relationships within another. But these relatively small group of other immortal beings, is all they have ever know.
Ludwig birth in the 1871 happens so late in pre world wars European history. All while the birth is also shrouded in mystery, rumors, and tall tails. From the moment Gilbert showed up with him, his much older peers either A) Didn't trust him because nation are always going to highly suspicious of a new personification sharing their land. And truthfully? most nations were freaked the fuck out by him. He looked like the long dead Holy Roman Empire all while everything about him pointed in the direction of Gilbert engaging in some form of unholy activities to give him life. With Gilbert refusing to confirm or deny anything , most nations do their best to keep their distance from the creepy fast growing HRE lookalike who they weren't convinced wasn't a demon B) Many wrote him off as Gilberts newest ego project/scheme to gain more power and figured eventually he would fade while Gilbert would over C) He was viewed as nothing more then an awkward, uncomfortable in his own body child, who could barley get words out of his mouth with stuttering and turning bright pink out of embarrassment. No way that kid was going to be a real threat. He was just as much of a threat to the old guards power and secretary as Britain's brat across the ocean was.
By the time Lud hit his late teens, while he was excelling academics (economics/military strategy/political system/historical dates), he had near zero social skills. And no one in Europe really cared to help him gain any. Which is when Gilbert put him on a boat in the 1880s and sent him to Alfred in hopes he would make a friend and learn how to be a "real boy" despite his unique birth/life.
It is almost as though he does a full 180 flip when it comes to his personality. He becomes almost obsessed with defending the legacy he had been raised to believe was his to inherit. A calculating and cold part of him comes out while before he was actually a sweet kid once you got past the creepy blank look on his face. Engrosses himself in military life trying to emulate his brother. Any anger or frustration regarding being ignored/belittled by his peers, comes straight to the surface. He is stuck in his own mind.
Post WW2, Ludwig pretty much shuts downs emotionally and mentally. While Gilbert is getting his ass kicked every which way by Ivan, Alfred is spends the majority of the 50s trying to get Ludwig to even speak or make eye contact. From there, a borderline neurotic personally is formed. Emotions/feelings/ (good and bad) are is so deeply suppressed inside of him that it comes out it spirts of either anger and extreme anxiety. Which has just added to his feeling that unlike everyone else around him, he can't form these surface level relationships.
Last night I dreamt that in the Blue Diamond au, Yellow Diamond would shatter and reform the gems as punishment rather than controlling them. Rather than forcibly removing Norah’s gem in the same manner as White Diamond, she shatters ALL OF THE CRYSTAL GEMS AND CLAIMS SHE WILL BRING THEM BACK IF NORAH SHATTERS HERSELF.
…. Norah Universe would NOT get past the censors. 😭
This is not my first post on here but from here on out I'm going try to post regularly!
Decided I would have a go with the diamond swap au!
Steven’s mom of course transformed from Pink Diamond—who wanted to be loved—into Rose Quartz, who loved everything. Here are the rest of their moms!
Reblog this post if you will not be sharing TADC spoilers until the episode comes out on YouTube on June 20! My blog will be a safe one to follow for anyone who's not seeing it in theaters!
