When I look at my hands it reminds me how often they reached for the stars and how many times they held me up in moments of weakness when I kneeled in the dirt. When I watch them I see a story book. Pages are filled with wiping tears away, with shaking and most of all with the process of maturing which I tried to ruffle up against so intensely. It is a living evidence of why I believe in wrinkly knuckles. They indicate a person who refused to clench it's fist. Someone who never tore up those canyons because they aren't made to be open landscapes. They remind me of a human being who strolls through life with open hands and a open heart. And yes, sometimes he wanders with only breezes and bruises but nevertheless when the wind stands favorable, he will get raised to new heights. Be kind.
