The demise of another ACU guild - the Requiem of Sorrow. While one of the B-rank ACU guilds, Requiem of Sorrow was largely established to suck up all the remaining Forsaken roleplayers who were not entirely onboard with playing as fascist war criminals on the run - ie the Rotgarde and Grim Gest.

Rainwatcher however was never truly accepted as a member of the ACU due to the sense that they were being opportunistic and the absurdly petty reason that they were using a Blood Elf model to play a Dark Ranger character with, insane considering Perroy quite openly allowed Leper Gnomes, Abominations and other “non conventional” Forsaken into his ranks, and granted himself a rather lofty title of Executor as well!

What was left of said guild has seemingly converged into the Gravesworn, a handful of players at best doing the same focus as Requiem.

At this stage the ACU has become little more than around 20-30 members at best on a good day, there has been some discussion within the CoAD team as to whether or not we should cease observing what is essentially a moribund community now and focus more widely on other groups out there that have a number of skeletons in their closet - the “Stormwind Nobility” clique being one suggestion and of course we still maintain our eyes on the activities of the Blood Elf community, the Sanguine Eye is matched by our Eye of Consequences!

After a number of requests for a more organised and easily at-a-glance understanding of who is who inside the PCU/ACU and some distinctions to consider we have updated their current membership and made it more presentable.

The major changes here are the apparent collapse of Perroy’s zeitgeist over his creation. Rumours of a “rival PCU” being formed are not entirely without merit when looking at the raw data. Three guilds have removed Perroy as their leader, (five if you consider the collapse of the Gnome and Dwarven PCU communities) breaking out of his official control and continuing general trend of decentralization within the PCU/ACU.

Another interesting trend we saw is many guilds are bled dry in membership. While some such as Red Venturers (never the most particularly vocal or virulent guild) have had modest gains, others have lost a precipitous number.

Despite having 49 members between them, the League of Modimus and Assemblage of Uld merger, the Forgecog Fellowship can barely scrape around 15 members.

Other notable declines are as follow: Chosen of Draenor (32, down from 51) Cleft of Shadow (28, down from 43) Coppersail Corsairs (49, down from 63) The Bilgewater Cartei (58, down from 71)

The highly anticipated “Voidfury” project has also seemingly stalled at a mere 17 members at posting, as has the “PCU but not PCU” guild, Blood Edict of Vandellor, at merely 13 members.

It appears that the actual number of PCU/ACU members being active has rapidly declined to a handful spread thinly across numerous shell guilds, vainly trying to keep their forum threads bumped up to look as if they are busy. At the same time their new strategy of “PCU Candidacy” as we shall call it, seems to be failing spectacularly due in part to the fact the only people who post on PCU guild threads... are PCU guild members.

Expect more mergers, more decentralisation and meeker presences in game and out of game from the PCU/ACU as their member base retracts and evaporates in the weeks and months to come.

It is an exciting time here at CoAD, which will be the next domino to fall as we document the ongoing fumbling fading of the PCU? Stay tuned for more sports fans.

It appears that our tactic of exposing guilds that are lead by PCU veterans and officers trying to hide in plain sight has worked. Blackstone Bruisers lead by Lawson/Matthew (A long term member of the Rotgarde) has seemingly also crashed and burned, no doubt in no small part due to their cover being blown.

There truly is no sense of self-awareness within the PCU. Here once more we can see the wall of decaying guilds being propped up by bumping (against the forum conduct rules by the way) from usually sub - 50 post individuals,  a clear indicator of someone who has been told to go and interact with a thread without much context. Here, a reacting to a call from Morsteth to save their nearly expired forum threads a diligent and well-meaning PCU member has answered the call, being used as someone who looks like a “fresh member” to enhance their legitimacy. Of course this fools no-one, not even the PCU themselves as their community continues to break off into pieces with the absence of Perroy. Considering Morsteth’s ability to lead a guild is effectively nill - being forced off from his previous server of Defias Brotherhood for his bad behaviour, it won’t be long until the PCU itself is forced into unofficial dormancy.

Another report from within the PCU gulag, this unfortunate player in the (now disbanded) Far Delvers decided to come forth and share their story with our xoyonodo community. They raise a number of points that we have also mentioned over the years. Individual players within various PCU communities are largely either coerced or face trouble for not engaging in the daily quota of jingoistic propaganda. “Nirixa” also correctly states that there are good people within the PCU, trapped within a system they didn’t realise they were getting into at the time. They decry the average treatment PCU member, unaware of the higher ups scheming and generally atrocious behaviour, being forced to be used as a bot/footman to report posts they dislike or give likes out ONLY to those who the PCU approve. Our sympathies go out to this player for their impossible position they are in, remain in the PCU and not get harassed but feel themselves being dragged into more and more pointless struggles or leave and be free but likely be doxxed, harassed and forced to retract statements under duress? Neither is a great outcome. To further add to the veracity of this claims not less than an hour after this was posted did obvious PCU drones swarm in trying to push the post down out of sight and generally draw attention after them.

We can only hope Nirixa found a solution that removed themselves from this incel clown squad while maintaining the safety of themselves and their friends in their online interactions. It is quite interesting to consider that Nirixa posted this a mere two weeks before the collapse of the Far Delvers itself. Perhaps they knew the game was up?

A follow up on the Far Delvers

It would also appear that following the post above (dated to the week beginning May 14th), there seems to have been either a catastrophic drop in activity or more ominously, the Far Delvers hauled before the PCU leaders to account for their member’s apparently trashing of their guild.

Perhaps Nirixa could see the way the winds were turning, yet another PCU guild becoming a hollowed shell, its members being siphoned off to the bigger core guilds for Dear Leader’s use. Either way it appears that the Far Delvers are no more, unfortunate in the long term as they were a non-Perroy led PCU guild, and likely as a result, expendable, like the Ebon Onslaught. Our earnest wishes go out to those who may have finally been freed to leave the PCU as a whole, our advice is always to chalk up some detached, impersonal reason rather than outwardly declaring a dislike, as this can lead to the harassment brigades coming in pursuit.

Recently we have had arguments that the PCU have 300 active members and 20+ active guilds, despite the who function showing otherwise. “Ah, CoAD Team.” We hear you saying. “The /who function is broken.” Not to the extent you may think, good readers. There has been considerable concern outside of the RP community about the /who function as well. It is not as broke as initially thought. While it does sort via War Mode or not, which won’t affect the vast majority of Argent Dawn (despite Perroy once proclaiming the only canonical phase for RP was War Mode...) the only other “bugs” that have shown have been related to addons, which a few readers have contacted us over Discord, informing us of their findings which indicate that certain rp addons can interfere with the function, disabling these lets you use the full function of the /who search. Another forum poster as listed above here has another solution that cuts through the bugs present in the system already. We have been aware of this workaround for some time and have used this multiple times to check just how many of the “300 active players” were present, revealing around just over 1/10th of that at peak hours. So the next time the PCU attempts to throw about “look at our active guilds and members”, remember, for every 10 members they claim to have, they have one (1). Much like a certain extremist party back in the 1920s and 1930s who attempted to inflate their membership numbers to look more imposing, the PCU have at best 30-40 active players across their whole community, so around 2-3 active people per guild, when they’re not being whipped into line that is.

The sorry state of the PCU Argent Dawn cesspit discord. Truly times are hard when there is a grand total of three (3!) posts in their “community of hundreds” over a time period from 11th all the way to 14th of this month. “coad hasn’t changed how we behave around here guys, honest!” we can hear the distant screaming pederastic dwarf attempt to explain away the complete lack of activity, or in place of actual activity, bizarre repetition posts that make it appear as if something is going on.

Of course the actual activity has been transferred to their real discord, the official PCU discord. The “official” Argent Dawn discord was only ever a shell for recruiting hapless players into their cult.
