Narla Girl again. Sorry if this is annoying you, I just wanted to clear up something from my last ask.

I wasn't saying all hybrid species are corrupted. I'm not trying to do furry racism. If Peaflow has a peacock feather for a butt and that's just normal within the context of the world, cool. My point was that hybrids are (I guess) supposed to be seen as a bad thing when the factory makes them. Since apparently that's what happened to Narla, it gives the sense she's not supposed to have any narwhal traits.

I realize there's bigger problems with SC, but Snowdrop's Toyhou.se page used to have her occupation listed as 'lawyer', and now? Now she's a housewife. Mel didn't even word it as 'stay-at-home mom who looks after the kids' or something, she just said 'housewife'. Way to be feminist, Mel.

Returning briefly for a bit to answer this criticism with: Even though it says that she's a former hairstylist, yeah I agree with you. This also bothers me so much. Like at this point, I'm starting to question this.

Like, why a housewife, which is usually a common thing that women and men want to push in alt-right spaces, instead of a lawyer? How come her kids can't have a babysitter or another relative taking care of them on occasion? Was it her own choice to be housewife? Because if so, then wow, Mel, nice way to say that Snowdrop would willingly depend on Peafowl's income rather than being able to make her own money, and that if she and him were to divorce, she'd be broke with nothing!

You are so right on this. Like really, why do they get to pretty much be the only straight married couple? Is it because they're based on her parents or something? (Especially where Peafowl was based on Mel's dad.)

It feels like she's being a weirdo about same-sex relationships that just feel so bland and not interesting at all, like Narla, Aeron, Sean, Butters, Nadia, Spirula, and St★rdrop were originally straight, but now that their orientations were changed it just. I don't know, feels so weird as hell that she hates straight people of a sudden? It's giving the days where she hated gay people and pride month (because apparently they were too celebratory to her) when she was straight, but like. In reverse.

I have a question about Pastel's father and mother, are they dead or are they alive? I went to the toyhouse and it has "alive" status

They're dead, at the time of their toyhouse pages being made, Snowdrop and Peafowl were going to be resurrected dead bodies, but now they're permanently dead.

What about the characters you like?

Nectarine, Riley, Snowdrop, Peafowl, Plum, Horace, Snuffles, Nadia, Butters, Archer, Octavia, Krystie, Peach, Lumi, Sean, and Azazel.

I like these characters more, and while most of them never get the spotlight, I love them.

Mostly Snowdrop, Peafowl, Horace, Azazel, Snuffles, Peach, Narla, Butters, Lumi, and Nectarine.

Snowdrop and Peafowl because they look like they'd sound like my dad and his girlfriend.

Horace and Nectarine because they remind me of myself to a degree.

Azazel, Butters, Narla, and Snuffles make me think of the friends I have now, and how much I cherish them.

Peach and Lumi reminds me of all of the animals I used to have when I was younger and the ones that I have now.

found this blog accidentally because of the Quartelz hashtag and saw you and other anons talking about goatasus brooches so i'll give my own opinion too

I really like the brooches and seasons/weather thing as a concept

If all brooches independent of the form had the same soft texture it wouldn't be a problem, but fact that the brooches have different textures, how tf goatasus like Pearl, Frostbite, Corundum or Spirala even sleep???

About the weather/seasons... i don't mind a lot tbh, it's a fun concept but Goatasus have nothing else to know their children is really theirs, the only way we know Peafowl is truly the lilium siblings dad is because of Bronze and Frostbite hand markings

EXACTLY. It feels like Mel hasn't even thought out things for the Goatasi to the point where they feel so unnecessary to the story because their species sometimes will make sense but then we still don't understand how they work, like how they're much physically weaker yet magically strong (even though in the older story, St★rdrop trained Pastel for years then it was Dominik training Pastel to be a child soldier, and Peafowl was supposed to be a bit more buffer yet he doesn't have alot of muscle on him.)

Brooches and seasons may be interesting, but there's a huge lack of seasonal changes in the species that I don't think Mel considered? If Goatasi were born in the winter, they'd definitely need to shed their coat of fur in the warmer seasons so they aren't constantly hot, and they'd need to regrow that fur to prevent staying cold. Summer Goatasi would be the same thing but reversed.

The colours on them make virtually no sense, because again, where are the genetics other than the markings and SOMETIMES the brooch? What about similar colour schemes to the parents so we know who their parents are? Fern is green and Spirala is orange, yet Snowdrop is blue and the only thing that indicates she's from the Kinross family is the brooch she's named after, but Pearl looks more like her mother.

I’ve always wondered what was Peaflow’s lore? Because I remembered that he was an orphan and he was abused by his adopted father, if I’m correct

And also is there any info on the deer family? Like Ruben or anyone?

Yeah, Peafowl was adopted by a rich family and got abused by his adoptive father.

Uh with the deer, I can't find much on them but they were supposed to be mixed Latines-Scottish but the Latine aspect was removed to just be Scottish, and that Ruben was supposed to be an Incubus (So yeah, Zodiac would basically be an Incubus, Valentina and Awentiana are Succubi, but it wasn't added to their info.)
