I realize there's bigger problems with SC, but Snowdrop's Toyhou.se page used to have her occupation listed as 'lawyer', and now? Now she's a housewife. Mel didn't even word it as 'stay-at-home mom who looks after the kids' or something, she just said 'housewife'. Way to be feminist, Mel.
Returning briefly for a bit to answer this criticism with: Even though it says that she's a former hairstylist, yeah I agree with you. This also bothers me so much. Like at this point, I'm starting to question this.
Like, why a housewife, which is usually a common thing that women and men want to push in alt-right spaces, instead of a lawyer? How come her kids can't have a babysitter or another relative taking care of them on occasion? Was it her own choice to be housewife? Because if so, then wow, Mel, nice way to say that Snowdrop would willingly depend on Peafowl's income rather than being able to make her own money, and that if she and him were to divorce, she'd be broke with nothing!
i find it weird how the only characters allowed to be in a straight relationship are SnowDrop and Peafowl
You are so right on this. Like really, why do they get to pretty much be the only straight married couple? Is it because they're based on her parents or something? (Especially where Peafowl was based on Mel's dad.)
It feels like she's being a weirdo about same-sex relationships that just feel so bland and not interesting at all, like Narla, Aeron, Sean, Butters, Nadia, Spirula, and St★rdrop were originally straight, but now that their orientations were changed it just. I don't know, feels so weird as hell that she hates straight people of a sudden? It's giving the days where she hated gay people and pride month (because apparently they were too celebratory to her) when she was straight, but like. In reverse.
I have a question about Pastel's father and mother, are they dead or are they alive? I went to the toyhouse and it has "alive" status
I'm confused.
They're dead, at the time of their toyhouse pages being made, Snowdrop and Peafowl were going to be resurrected dead bodies, but now they're permanently dead.
Ok sorry if this is slightly nsfw- talking about the Goataus birth and such, but like... can you imagine how painful it would be to birth a goataus with a brooch or extra accessory?
Like, I suppose a broach that is soft wouldn't be much of an issue, but think of Bronze's brooch. It's sharp and he even has PINECONES as the accessory. I think the only thing that'll kinda justify it is the idea that the brooches develop later in life- probably not TOO late, maybe like a week after birth- after the umbilical cord falls off idk. But lord, I'd hate to be Snowdrop just saying💀
Don't worry, you're all good, plus the topic of birth isn't even remotely NSFW, but NO YOU'RE RIGHT I'M LITERALLY THINKING THE SAME THING. If it's softer like Pastel's I can understand because it's cake fondant, but Bronze/Hallow and Frostbite/Noel's? There is literally way Snowdrop wouldn't be in severe pain due to the textures and shape.
And to this day, I still don't want to imagine how Corundum's birth went because of that brooch every time that I look at it, jesus christ. You can not tell me that there was no injury/tearing involved during the birth of him.
What about the characters you like?
Nectarine, Riley, Snowdrop, Peafowl, Plum, Horace, Snuffles, Nadia, Butters, Archer, Octavia, Krystie, Peach, Lumi, Sean, and Azazel.
I like these characters more, and while most of them never get the spotlight, I love them.
Mostly Snowdrop, Peafowl, Horace, Azazel, Snuffles, Peach, Narla, Butters, Lumi, and Nectarine.
Snowdrop and Peafowl because they look like they'd sound like my dad and his girlfriend.
Horace and Nectarine because they remind me of myself to a degree.
Azazel, Butters, Narla, and Snuffles make me think of the friends I have now, and how much I cherish them.
Peach and Lumi reminds me of all of the animals I used to have when I was younger and the ones that I have now.
also, carni/herbi anon here, but the loss of narlas narwhal stuff was SOO SADDD I MISSED IT SO MUCH
also
who the FUCK is corundum
YEAH... They took away Narla's narwhal stuff... :( And Corundum is the newest Kolby/Kraines replacement after Fern (the original creator of Noel/Frostbite and Hallow/Bronze,) had a second falling out with Mel in a row. He also works for Dominik, who sent him to kill Pastel's family, I guess. He's a child abuser like Dominik and other factory workers (except for Sean I GUESS.)
And apparently he lost his little sister and sees Narla as his little sister dspite literally being a child abuser???
I don't want to imagine how his birth went because of that brooch.
ah yes, the brooches have patterns, how useful/sarcasm
At this point can we say that brooches on Goatasi are useless. Literally. Because the only reason why they exist is because they're an external organ that does nothing else but have a role in their magic that is sometimes not even remotely related to the actual brooch itself (Ex: Snowdrop's brooch being the flower she's named after yet she has holograms, and Peafowl's brooch being a literal peacock feather yet he can change the weight of objects???)
And they literally serve no other purpose than storing magic. I mean sure, but like. They genuinely feel useless, not to mention they break easily.
