Dob/Rob Snotfang was the peakest Snotfang to have ever peaked
I love Arron ragebating Andrew and Neil into actually dating…..”I like Neil’s promise ring, by the way” bro KNEW what he was doing and took great joy in it.
if httyd took place in modern times Ryker would make Viggo watch one of those videos where a cars going down a road only for it to cut to a jumpscare when they were kids... peak sibling behavior.
I would put this into comic form but I can't draw for the life of me
Daaaaad! - HTN Cute Snippet
Danny: “I can’t do anything remotely dangerous without Laserbeak tattling on me all like ‘Dad, Danny’s trying to kill himself.’”
Laserbeak: *Repeating in Danny's voice* '~Dad, Danny’s trying to kill himself.~'
Danny: “Oh no… now I’ve done it.”
Laserbeak: *Flying circles around Soundwave* '~Dad! Dad!~'
Soundwave: *Looks down at Danny, tilting his helm to the side with a question mark on his visor before repeating the recording* '~Dad?~'
Danny: *Chuckles* “Uh, like caretaker. The mech that takes care of the younger ones. Or like a carrier to their mini-con.”
Soundwave: *Nods* “Soundwave: Dad.”
TLDR: rant about the history of niche types of tea to explain why Jaghatai would be Mortarion’s tea dealer
So way back when in ancient China (before the Chinese emperor mandated that all teas be whole leaf teas) large batches of tea would be prepared for long journeys by being pressed in large, flat tea “cakes”, which would then be delivered by horseback or carriage to far away customers. Many of those tea cakes were exported from China to Mongolia, but over the long journey from point a to point b, the tea cakes were exposed to the elements and especially oxygen and rain. This caused the tea cakes to age and ferment, creating an earthy, complex taste which became prized by many and later named Sheng tea. (Note that you’ll usually see it called Sheng Pu’erh, but that it because pu’erh is the cultivar of tea leaves used in the tea cakes and not actually associated with the aging process itself). There is a method of artificially aging and fermenting to try to get the same result in less time, the result is called Shou tea. Also in Mongolia in contemporary times it’s common to have huge bricks of condensed tea dust which is then broken off with a chisel and mixed into boiling water to make tea. Needless to say I think that the bitter tea lover in Mortarion would go gaga over these types of teas if Jaghatai ever introduces him to Chogorian teas, and Jaghatai would be fine with just giving him a bunch of tea whenever they cross paths. The issue is that Mortarion doesn’t like feeling like he’s indebted to any of his brothers so he’ll try to find a way to pay Jaghatai back, and Jaghatai would just refuse payment because they’re family.
Also I think that Corvus would love white tea, which is sun dried tea with a light and delicate flavor. White tea is also often aged in tea cakes which deepens the flavor and color of the tea.
Oh that's really neat! I didn't really know that about tea. My tea knowledge is limited to what I used to buy at teavana? It was a tea store at my local mall.
I can also picture mortarion attempted to hide money in Jaghatai's stuff to pay him back and he wakes up the money being in his wallet again.
(will take tea recommendations for fruity sweet teas.)
