Which canon character does your OC respect a lot?
The person Elizabeth respects the most is Alfie. She and her brothers owe him everything. After the war, Elizabeth found it very hard to find work. While she had experience as a nurse, no one was willing to hire someone working class and she experienced a lot of classism due to where she grew up.
However, Alfie was more than willing to give her (and her two brothers) work in his company. Elizabeth got to continue being a nurse, something she loves.
Which canon character does your OC not respect at all? Why?
This one is a little hard for me to answer but out of all the characters the one Elizabeth respects the least is Linda.
Due to the horrors she saw as a war nurse, Elizabeth is now an atheist. How could any God who claims to love his creations also make something as hideous as war? Elizabeth and Linda (when they do eventually meet) do butt head over this. She also finds Linda to be snobby which grates on her.

Elizabeth pulled her shawl tightly around her as she gave Tommy as suspicious look. Tommy, as usual, didn't care. He lit his own cigarette and clicked his lighter so the small flame danced between them.
Elizabeth wanted to go back inside and grab her own matches but doing so would be seen as retreating and she never retreated from anything. So reluctantly she walked forward, allowing Tommy to light her own cigarette.
