Pearnose! admittedly, I haven't thought about her much, but let me see what I can find in my notes...

She's witness to ThunderClan's near-destruction. Medicine cat under Morningstar, she is even-tempered but not eager to cooperate with the other clans, and tends to be aloof and withdrawn from the other medicine cats. She quietly disagreed with Morningstar's decision to appoint Leafstorm's son, Redthroat, as deputy after her death, but believed her place was not to challenge her leader.

She is the littermate of Pineclaw, and is somewhat young during the events of BotC, where she appears living. She was mentored by Prickleface, who appears in the 14th story of Code of the Clans. Prickleface is elderly and ailing by the time of BotC, where he starves to death during the famine that also takes Leafstorm's life. Pearnose is left young and alone, deciding impulsively to take on Fallowpaw as an apprentice. Fallowpaw ends up not taking to medicine duties and switches to being a warrior apprentice, eventually earning the name Fallowsplash. Later, her brother has kits, one of whom is Kestrelwing. Pearnose is surprised when Pineclaw insists that Kestrelpaw wants to be a medicine cat apprentice - after all, he takes after his father so much in attitude. not exactly what you would expect from a medicine cat. But she trains him dutifully, however she was never able to quite pass on her "always obey the leader" mentality, as seen from Kestrelwing's stunt with Redstar.

Pearnose passes from a bout of greencough the leaf-bare before SkyClan is driven from the forest. Had she been around, I imagine she would have sided with Redstar against Kestrelwing's desire to offer shelter to Birdflight and her kits, even if she personally thought it was the right thing to do.

She decides to be Goosefeather's StarClan mentor because she and Cloudberry have both lived through famines before, and she believes they can help him overcome what looms on the horizon. (spoilers! they cannot.)

overall id say theres definitely a few moments where her inaction causes pivotal events to unfold. Like not speaking her concerns with Redthroat as deputy - he would go on to be one of ThunderClan's worst leaders. Would Morningstar have listened to her? I'm not sure. the dude was pretty stubborn in his ideas.
