Girlfriend is trying to convince me to move to the PICU with her after my maternity leave. I've always thought I would go straight to our Peds Cardiothoracic ICU, but maybe I could make a pit stop and expand my skill set... I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

My little Spanish-speaking transplant candidate defended me in all of her 5 year old glory. One of my fave co-workers likes to consistently remind me that I AM HUGELY AND UNCONDITIONALLY PREGNANT. She told my Patient that my belly was big.... Oh this lil nugget got so mad. She stomped her foot and said " No, you!" and pointed to my co-worker (who is not a large person by any means) and stomped away.... Dragging her drips with her. We laughed so hard I think I peed a little.
They come in threes.
February has been a sobering reminder that we can't save them all.
