pellic

A term for someone who prefers non-sexual kink acts to sex. This can include asexual(-spectrum) people who are interested in kink but not sex, but it is also inclusive of allosexuals who prefer non-sexual kink to sex for any reason. The term is derived from Latin "pellis", which translates both to "skin" (which is touched during many physical acts of kink) and "leather" (an item featured in many kinks and sometimes considered emblematic of kink as a whole). This can be combined with another orientation (e.g. pellic lesbian, bipellic, etc.), or it can be used as a label on its own if one views one's interest in non-sexual kink as an orientation in and of itself.

Website update: archiving plurids, roleics, and pellic-related terms!

I have decided that, when I am finished with making my website that archives all of my own coined terms, I will make websites that are about the following terms I have coined and that archive all terms coined relating to them:

roleic

pellic

I will be archiving everything I have coined related to these, and I would like to include everything else that has been coined related to those terms.

However, I do not consider myself to actively participate in the coining community, so I am unfamiliar with all of its etiquette. I know that many individuals dislike having their terms archived, but not all of them have that information publicly available about them. I thus have trouble understanding sometimes if I'm allowed to archive someone's terms ornot.

Therefore, this post is an invitation to anybody who has coined a term related to plurid, roleic, or pellic to let me know if they would like me to archive their terms on my site.

The only restriction I place on this is that I request that minors do not interact with me regarding the term "pellic", as it is a kink term.

A roleic term for a system member whose role, status, or experience as a system member involves being pellic - i.e. someone who prefers non-sexual kink acts to sex - in some way. This could involve: -being an asexual kink headmate -coping with sexual trauma with non-sexual kink -helping the system engage in kink safely However, this could involve anything.

A term for a system whose functions, headmates, in-space, etc. are affected or represented by being pellic - i.e. someone who prefers non-sexual kink acts to sex. This could be synonymous with being a kinkbased system whose kink is non-sexual, or it could more specifically involve: -a system whose preference for non-sexual kink is connected to something else that affects system functions -having some members who are pellic and some members who prefer sex or sexual kink and finding that differences in system role can be mapped onto this difference of identity -feeling that the kink aspect of being pellic and the non-sexual aspect of being pellic affect the system differently instead of in the same way However, this could involve anything.

cupiopellic

Cupiopellic is a term for somebody who participates or wants to participate in non-sexual kink acts despite not being/identifying as kinky or experiencing it as kink attraction. The reasons somebody would want to participate in non-sexual kink without personally being kinky are as varied as the reasons somebody would want to participate in sex or romance without being allosexual/alloromantic. However, one reason could include non-kink enjoyment of the subject of the kink. e.g. someone who enjoys the sensation of pain but does not identify as a masochist in the kink sense, or someone who participates in a clothes kink because they enjoy the clothes in a way they do not regard as kink.
