TMI: incontinence
As of the beginning of this year I had a major problem holding my pee.
I had to run (and by that I mean RUN) to the bathroom every 30min or my urine would just flow. Lots of times I made it almost and my urine started dripping as I took my clothes off. It was a very stressful time as I would always wonder whether I would be able to get to a bathroom on time. At work, on small trips in the car, bus etc. As you can imagine it was very stressful...
I read a lot about SUI (behold, I am 43 years old and gave birth to two children) which starts to occur to a lot of women but at the same time didn't want to live like this for another 40 years. So I started wondering about changes in my life during this time :I was learning for exams, I rode my Hometrainer a lot as it was winter, I drank a lot of water.
I stopped the Hometrainer and started pelvic exercises and it got slightly better. But it is literally gone since I finished my exams! I started to bike again and it seems it is not the main reason but it was stress-related.
I take this as an important lesson to the fact, that my body is capable of doing everything but not to take its power for granted.
Ps: I still do pelvic exercises sometimes - doesn't cost and doesn't hurt.
