Some of you have been asking about my own self practice and what I get up to when it comes to “hard” shapes. Well, as I mentioned last week I focus on preparation and warming up a lot (avoiding injury and over work is super important), but I do work into more physically challenging shapes like this one: #lolasana or #pendantpose. Works your arms, core, upper back, abdominals. A precursor to this is #scalepose or #tolasana, where you use the same arm shape but start with sitting cross legged or lotus legs.
