The top 10 things that'd happen in "Paris took Penelope instead of Helen AU." (according to me):
1. Hector, Patroclus & Achilles will all die because they love narrative doom.
2. Penelope and Andromache would become (more than) friends and spend time at the loom.
3. Odysseus goes nuts like Diomedes in his arestia.
4. Some canon things remain the same?? (Trojans blaming Penelope, Priam and Hector being friendly to her..etc)
5. Aphrodite and Athena would be constantly arguing because Athena is yk, obviously with Odysseus.
6. When the Trojan horse comes in, instead of mimicking the voices of their wives (like Helen did) as a test, Penelope would know ts is NOT a truce offering because she KNOWS her husband and his things.
7. Penelope would help in the killing of the Trojans? (Like Helen did in the fall of troy in some texts)
8. Odysseus would kill Paris. No negotiations. Rip.
9. Would you fall in love with me again but everyone is dying in the background.
10. ..yay, a cursed happy ending!
Plot twist:
Penelope says she likes Andromache now and they both just run away to Italy with Aeneas' crew and Odysseus settles in with Diomedes.
What do you think of Penelope x Andromache/Penemache?
(this ship exists because of the parallels and mirrors between them Lmaoo)
@andromacheceo your thing just got mentioned get over here
But anyways I like Penemache I think the appeal of it is very cute and I think a relationship between them would be sweet!!
can we be blessed with more andromache edits?

Here…have yuri
We have Cassandra/Helen toxic yuri
Now it's time for Andromache/Penelope: Penemache!
Andropen/Penemache headcanons? 🫶🏽
ANDROPEN HELLO I LOVE THIS QUESTION
i have been some thoughts about how andromache could have fallen in love with penelope and so far, my favorite one is where she silently falls in love silently and slowly, without never realizing it, thanks to helen's histories. just a thought:
when andromache and helen are all alone, maybe when paris and hector are away in the battlefield, helen starts telling her stories of how was her life, mentioning penelope several times. she probably talks about her cousin with excitement, probably missing her for years now! and every time, with each passing month, andromache always wait to hear more about her
another one, placing in andromache au warrior:
1. when she visits ithaca trying to find odysseus for revenge, she arrives at the palace with the news that he had not yet arrived from his trip. that's when penelope, curious about this woman without knowing her intentions, offers her lodging for a few days, not knowing andromache has come *only* to revenge his son (angst toxic doomed yuri oh wow)
2. this is if andromache before arriving in Ithaca, she had learned that odysseus hadnt yet arrived. thats when she pretends to be odysseus and plus penelope, with fully know thats not her husband, plays along. im still thinking abt this one but i actually really like a scene like this :b
others hcs and a liiitttlleee anyliss, more simples, i have are like:
- we can see how andropen are more or less 'two faces of the same coin' of the war. in one hand, andromache experience the war in the present, losing everything, representation of defeat and noiisy suffering (at first. u can see how she represents both types of paint lately, the noisy and the silent); while penelope lives the consequences of war, she represents how her whole life is at stake but still resists with hope, the silent suffering. they match each other tragidies
- we can see how penelope is smart but more reserved, while andromache reflects more empathy and deep. andromache would like to help penelope to be more open with her emotions, while penelope helps her to rebuild herself
- andromache usually has nightmare abt the fall of troy, penelope always stay awake with her trying to calm her down until she falls asleep again
- they are slow burn. a *slow* burn. too slow.
old women yuri come to me
All these "Penelope left him" Odysseus AUS, where's the AU in which Penelope found Andromache and fell in love and then they both kicked Odysseus out of his house and Telemachus didn't object either and accepted Andromache as his other mom??
Choose one: Hector x Andromache or Hector x Achilles
WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME ANON 😔
I choose the one sinister option...
