Is Eddie and the winter prince doing okay? We've been getting a lot of Tybalt updates but not Eddie.

AWW thank you for your concern ahaha!! Eddie and the Winter Prince are doing just fine. The reason why there have been more Tybalt updates than Eddie at the moment is because the DM and one of our players for Lunaris (The Eddie + Winter Prince campaign) have online university commitments and with the added stress of quarantine and having to convert our in person dnd sessions to online, we’ve decided to have a little break from that campaign for now. Also my own campaign (Ivoria) has also been put on hold for the time being. 

We have a different group for players with slight overlap for the Tybalt campaign and since the DM and most people in that group don’t have university, we’ve been able to play online a couple of times, hence the numerous Tybalt drawings and updates ahaha. 

I’m very keen to get back into playing Eddie and running my own campaign again when we get the chance!! I’ll definitely keep everyone updated on that!

i’m not sure, actually! if he does it’ll be learned towards the end. i feel like if i can make it work, i’ll put it in bc i’m liking the sound of lance feelin real guilty over accidentally murdering  an ally….

I was wondering if you could help with a problem. I'm trying to do an oc for every precure team/season. I'm not even close to this season yet but, I have no clue what to do for hugtto. I don't really get their concept. Most teams have a central theme and similar ish outfits but hugtto is kind of all over the place. Any tips?

I don’t have a very good answer since this is a problem I have myself as well. 

I haven’t written much anything about Huggto, but let it be known that I’m not a fan of the magical outfit designs of the season. I don’t think their designs look interesting enough on their own, but there’s not enough of a theme for them to look nice as a group either. And first there’s the whole career thing going on, but then they go and make an “idol” design. Which I don’t like, because 1) there’s been plenty of idols in Precure already, pick something that’s new and unique for this season, 2) I’ve read enough about the problems of the teen idol business that I wouldn’t mind them appearing a bit less in shows aimed at little girls, 3) idol outfits already look so similar to magical girl outfits that it’s kind of boring to magical girl-ify one, 4) then they go and waste two character design opportunities on this idol theme and 5) don’t have the decency to include the see through fabric in them that was the only unifying thing in the first three designs. Can you tell that Amour and Macherie didn’t exactly wow me with their looks? 

And then there are the minor Cures who totally fail to utilise this whole career based outfits idea, like it shouldn’t be that hard to make a magic chef or police or astronaut outfit, but no, everyone (apart from Infini I guess) just has a generic one colour fantasy getup. HapiCha was a mess writing wise, but it sure got the outfit department right.

(seriously though, the character designer has done 3 Precure seasons and all of them are on my not-so-liked Precure design list, though this time for the opposite reason as the boring sameyness of Yes and Smile. I’d rather not have them design any more Precure…)

Ahem, sorry I got a bit sidetracked, you probably didn’t expect to unleash a rant that has been building up for months. Now onto your question. I would say

Pick a career that has an identifiable outfit

Add some frills, ribbons and general weirdness to it

Don’t forget the makeup

Include some see through fabric somewhere

Finish with the PreHeart.

I wish I could watch your dnd sessions. They sound so interesting. Have you had one since the incident? If so, hows the tension with Cide?

AWWw thank you!! I was thinking maybe one day I could try make some little animations about our sessions but at the moment I’ll just have to draw some of the best scenes from them! AND YES we have had a session since the incident. The tension has been INTERESTING?? I know Cide and Eddie had a few moments last session where they were getting along like old times, and then Eddie would remember and turn away or stop talking. And when we were stuck with a difficult decision that the whole party was unsure of, tensions were very high. I think at the moment the party is just trying to deal with the situation we’re in at the moment (aka infiltrating the school and trying to uncover whats been happening to students) so we’ll have to deal with all our feelings about the incident once we’re out of Hansens!
