i've been getting in touch with my dark side after all these years afraid to be seen in anything but the righteous light. it hasn't been easy, admitting the devil was always present for me, breaking through from the dark other-side of the coin. and here i wonder how Love holds true to the demon who would kill every one of you. to the foolishness that would claim to be mercy in the name of torture, to the fire who would taunt you to pray to Light as it burns you alive, to the divine rite of a crucifixion for fear of what powers a human could believe in. the other side of my saint is stained a darkest song even the silence can't bear to sing. if you could bring me to light no one would dare to hear it. none could look upon the vision and its wayward logic: love is evil's cruelest disguise. to make you feel safe before it rips out your life.
