060. Generation 1, Episode 60
Breakfast time! So far Fernie hasn't really been that into food... until I gave her applesauce today. Ohhh boy, she loves that stuff (As you can tell by her messy face)! She didn't wanna quit eating! Rhonda's relieved she'll finally get a breastfeeding break.
Fernie's getting better and better at crawling! She can do it all by herself now! Look at her go!
Lately she's been rather taken by this toy of this French cat called Le Chat.
"Do not squeeze moi! Me iz delicate!" the toy says. Fernie giggles, the cat has a silly-sounding French accent.
Guess who's stopping by for the first archaeology lesson since Fernie exited the womb? I let Javiar meet Fernie, but she was not happy being passed off to a stranger...
"I don't think she likes me," Javiar says.
"C'mon, Fernie," I say, "Javiar is nice!"
Fernie's response is whimpering. I can tell she's about to cry.
"Okay, okay," I say, taking her back, "It's okay to be shy. Good job for getting out of your comfort zone, though!"
After I put Fernie down for her nap, I spend some time catching up with Javiar.
"Sooo, what's Sam doing?"
"He's seeing someone," Javiar says, "This guy named Matteo."
"Ooooh," I say, "How long have they seen each other?"
"They've only been on a couple dates, so not long," Javiar says, "They seem to really like each other, though."
"Definitely keep me updated!"
Javiar and I proceed with our archaeology session. I also showed him some pictures of Fernie's first time in Selvadorada! Meanwhile, Rhonda spent most of the day training with Titus and hanging out with Pepita.
Titus and Pepita even had a friendly moment together! Could this little goat finally be choosing peace for once? Only time will tell...

Before heading out, Yaritza has a quick talk with Pepita:
“ Now remember - Emma and Pumpkin are here for the next five days; I expect you to be on your best behavior for Daddy. We got extra snacks, so don’t be stingy when Pumpkin wants some. She’s your guest. “
She doesn’t have to visit herself, but she will because that’s how she is. Her bags are packed and in the car; Bernardo packed them this morning.
There’s plenty of food in the fridge for the girls, and she loaded Addie‘s card with extra money in case they want some takeout or hit the food stands.
The dogs will probably follow Bernardo around the house since she’s not there; he doesn’t mind. They’ll probably ball up at his feet while he’s at his computer, which will be most of the time. 
Emma was pretty excited at the thought of hanging out at the pool; she wasted no time getting into her suit.
She’d already had a talk with pumpkin about getting along with Pepita, but pumpkin is a wildcard.
After a first assessment, found herself a little confused.
What is that? Is that even a dog? 
Trust us, Pumpkin – Pepita’s thinking the same thing about you. She’s also hoping her mom was right about buying enough snacks, because that orange mass of fur is huge.
Joy fired off a quick text to Emma to make sure the dogs are getting along. I’m told her she’s not entirely sure, but at least no one’s fighting so far.
She’ll keep her posted.
