It’s hard to be a sweet girl when your “adoptive” Dad is a big, bad Boss with a fierce, no-nonsense attitude. That’s why you bring in a calm, sensible, just as fierce ‘Mumtician’, to balance things out.

What started out as a simple recreation of Wallflower Blush from Equestria Girls: Forgotten Friendship turned into the valiant attempt just to get her hair right and skin tone right!
I really feel for Wallflower. The soft tone in her voice, her fear of being forgotten, even her song! Her song reminds me a great deal of me when I was her age in high school.

It also helps that she reminds so much of a Boxtrolls OC of mine, Pepper Snatcher. Her hair, shyness, and voice just scream her. So yeah, I love Wallflower Blush :D

Every drawing of her looks inconsistent to me. That can be my new project!

My Boxtrolls OC Pepper as a mermaid. Even though she’s only 6 (though I have to admit she looks 9, 10, or 11 here), she is a fairytale fangirl, in both Mermaid AU and OU. In this AU, her great white shark of a father, Archibald Snatcher, has her practice her singing as a way to help him sink ships. He does it for the treasure. She secretly does it to catch a glimpse at the fancy humans that go sailing on the wealthy White Hats’ boats. She’s heard plenty of stories about them, but wants to actually know them herself.
Though he reminds her frequently that humans are intimidated by merpeople, and for good reason, she hopes that one day she can have a human as a friend. And so she sings, hoping that one day, her dream will come true…
