Since you’re already on the subject with these anons can I tell you the dumbest little thing that drives me insane about the hunger games movies?

In catching fire when the photos of katniss’s family in peeta’s locket are straight up MOVIE STILLS that don’t even remotely look like normal photos you would take of someone you know….like, in this multimillion dollar movie franchise, we couldn’t snap some quick candids??? Kill me

tired of airing out my personal life so i’m gonna give you connabeth headcanons instead

Connor is super physically affectionate with Annabeth, much to Percy’s dismay

He regularly kisses her on the cheek in greeting and goodbye

They hug a lot and when they’re just hanging out, strolling through camp, they lean on each other quite a bit because that’s just the kind of easiness and comfort that comes with being best friends for so long

he also gives her a lot of piggyback rides whenever he demands them bc who is he to say no to annabeth chase? it’s usually when she’s exhausted and tired and wants to exploit her best friend as much as she can or when she’s in a playful mood and wants to race with travis and katie down half blood hill

Percy gets extremely irritable if he sees the two of them walking around camp together, brushing shoulders or hands, or if he sees connor’s hands on her legs as he’s giving her piggyback rides

catch him moping in his cabin, staring out into the horizon at fireworks beach like he’s in some dramatic coming of age movie, and/or taking Blackjack out for a ride to let off some steam

Annabeth is a very affectionate person, too, and she’s known to give out a lot of platonic cheek kisses so sometimes she reciprocates Connor’s touchiness

and that’s what really sets Percy off. because dammit, he was the only one who should be getting kisses from her. that little kiss she gave him after the chariot race was their special little thing, but now she’s also kissing Connor like that? the green little monster in him is raging.

connor meanwhile is having the time of his life. he has a whole zoo in his stomach every time she gives him a tight hug, kisses his cheek, or playfully runs her hand through his hair

he is simply vibing😎

and annabeth is completely unaware of the effect she has on him, because in her eyes it’s not much more than the kind of affection you see between best friends

percy and connor clearly don’t think so. but does she know? no.🥰

lol, so. 

When I was little (like 1-3) I slept in the same room as my dad (my parents sleep in different rooms most of the time because my dad snores and my mum hates it lol), and he always tells me that I would wake up in the middle of the night and say “what do you need?” and start having a conversation with somebody. It actually got to the point where he had to sleep facing the door with his back against the wall because i freaked him out so bad.

Also, the house this happened in is a duplex, and on the other side, before we rented it out, we had all of my toys over in the living room. my mum and i both could NOT leave the living room without getting a bad feeling, and she told me she could never make it the whole way up the steps unless someone else was on that side of the house with her.

This is the same house that we rented that side to my boyfriend and his dad when they got kicked out (long story, makes me very angry). It was about two months after he moved in, and he woke up because he heard something in the hallway, and thought I was standing at the foot of his bed, or a younger version of me.

i was not.

similar things like that happened up until i moved.

i moved to virginia in january, and when I go up to visit him, i stay there with him. His little sister has moved in since then (she’s 11), but that’s just a thing for later.

I was on the couch one night and he was on the chaise, and his sister was on the futon they have (we all crashed downstairs after watching movies), and the motion light they have in the hallway came on (you can see the hallway and bottom of the stairs from the living room). the light woke me up, and there was a girl standing at the bottom of the steps. I thought that his sister was getting up to go to the bathroom, but she was just standing there. so i sat up and was like “hey [her name], are you okay?” 

i was still tired, so it didn’t really register that it wasn’t here for a second, until i looked at the futon and saw here lying there, and then looked back at the steps and the girl laughed and then ran up the steps and the light shut off.

his dad has also mentioned that he sees the girl too, and that sometimes she goes in to check on him while he’s sleeping.

his little sister has also said something similar, and we kind of all agree that she’s friendly. nothing bad has ever happened, and she always smiles and goes away when you realize she’s there. we think she just likes to check on us and make sure we’re okay... which leads us to the question of “what is she checking on us for, and what is she protecting us from?”

i feel it should also be mentioned that before my parents bought the house, my uncle used it for a haunted house he ran (still runs, just somewhere else). if you rip up the floorboards there’s a fake chalk outline from it, and if you take down some of the paneling and such in the rooms and bathroom, there’s “bloody” handprints on the walls. i have to wonder why he was drawn to that house for a haunted house, but it seems fitting.
