The Dag aesthetics for perceptiiv
switcheroo! ;v;
The Dag is an Australian exchange student who prefers to be referred to only as “the Dag”. No one knows what the Dag’s real name is, and no one is too keen on asking. She’s quiet, and kind of shy and nervous-looking, with nails bitten to the quick- but even with all that, there’s something about her that makes people uneasy, and everyone, human and vampire, tends to stay away from her.
It isn’t until she gets talked into going up to La Push for a party and meets the werewolves that she reveals her true nature- she’s actually a shapeshifter, herself; she transforms into a Tasmanian wolf, an animal that’s long since been extinct. Despite the species barrier, the pack soon comes to regard her as a cousin, of sorts, and even prickly Leah grows to like her. When she goes back home, she stays in touch.
perceptiiv
Her arrival was strange: one moment warm, wind whipping in her hair, blood racing in her veins. The next, cool, on her own feet, the air still. A twinge on her leg caught her attention, and she bent. The graze of the bullet had pulled against its bindings.
She shivered in the contrast of temperatures, and for the first time noticed her surrounding. A shaded area, shaded with tall structures she recognized as ‘skyscrapers’, such a thing she’d never seen in person. Underneath her feet, the ground was hard, coolish, shimmery like it was wet. What was this place?
For a while she walked, passing by strangers, all of them as odd to her as she must be to them. But finally there was one she recognized- pale hair, slim and lanky. It could only be Dag, could only be her, but where were they? Would Dag know?
“I don’t know whether I want to do this. I don’t know whether I CAN do this.”
[ Basic Angst Starters ]
Doubt was a persons worst enemy, self doubt was often crippling to a point where it prevented action. That much was certain.
“If you’re thinking of giving up now, when you’ve come so far, it’d be a waste. All of this would have been for nothing. Do you really want your life to end knowing that?” He knew that he didn’t – his life had ended, he had DIED for nothing, and he didn’t want anyone else to face the same fate.
Envy
Send a word for an occasion where my muse has felt: Envy
He could only chuckle. “Envy? Why would I ever need to feel that?”
Hayakawa won’t admit it, but he, of course, has felt envy. Back when he was first abandoned for reasons he didn’t understand (and, frankly, still doesn’t), Hayakawa found himself envious of those kids who still had moms to return home to. He wondered what made their mothers stay around them while he was left alone. What was wrong with him?
It took a good number of years for him to turn that envy into a motivation to find his mother again. Meeting Asuka may have helped that along.
Snowdrop
Snowdrop: Describe a time they felt hope
Possibly the strongest hope she’d ever felt was right after she and Aragorn pledged themselves to each other, despite their circumstances. That small amount of time in between feeling that tender closeness until the moment her father set a condition, that he would not give his blessing unless the condition was met.
