Should this not be directed towards @asknewt? I do not know how to look after creatures.
((It is time! Cosplay Livestream is a go!!!
https://www.younow.com/PercivalGraves/channel
Hope to see you there!!))
ooc: So it happened?!
First I want to say thank you to all of you, I have run RP and Ask blogs in the past but never have I encountered a community of such wonderful people. This blog has grown faster than I ever could have imagined and now there’s a thousand of you? Like....that’s the people on my course at uni times 5? That’s....crazy?
Second I promised a livestream. I’ve got the system all set up and I’ve done a test and it seems to work so I’m going to say that the cosplay livestream will be happening this Sunday (22nd January) at 8:30pm GMT (2:30pm CT). I’m going to be in cosplay and attempting to be in character as much as I can. I will be answering questions for both myself and Graves and we’ll go until either I can’t continue or we run out of questions.
Finally I just wanted to shout out to the Fantastic Beasts Circle. There’s so many of you so I’m just going to put a link to the masterpost rather than trying to tag all of you here: https://mrpercivalgraves.tumblr.com/post/155383024935/the-fantastic-circle. You guys are all amazing and you deserve all the love in the world so if anyone is reading this and are not already following everyone on that list then go and do so! That’s an order!
Little special thanks to @asknewt. Without them I wouldn’t be here. <3
Well, thank you again, and I hope to see some of you at the livestream on Sunday.
PSA:
All MACUSA employees should be aware that a new dog park that has opened up on West 32nd street. No one should enter the dog park. Avoid it at all costs.
((AN: I thought these drabble requests would work well together so I’ve smushed them all into one. I’ve amped up the Goldgraves so the eventual fluff makes sense otherwise this is canon to the blog.))
“Now now...this isn’t too hard now is it? I hurt you and you tell me things but you could just...skip the pain and tell me everything I need to know. You know I will find out eventually”
.....
“You would have loved to be with me at MACUSA today, your renegade auror, what’s her name again...Tina. She’s in trouble. She’s not going to get out of it. How does it feel knowing that you will never get to speak to her again. I’m tempted to keep you alive after this just so that you can suffer in a world without her.”
.....
“She will pay for this....no....You will pay for this......CRUCIO!”

Percival Graves found himself slipping in and out of consciousness as he was transported away from Nurmengard, the worst of his wounds too big for the healers to deal with there and then. He saw glimpses, felt the pull of the floo network, of apparition, the pain of someone jostling against him. The stench of blood and sweat was overwhelming and he couldn’t stop the ringing in his ears. Until suddenly it was gone.
He stirred slightly, shifting in the warm and soft bed, fresh sheets and a warm ray of sunlight streaming through the windows. He groaned a little at the pain, a large cut across his torso from one of Grindelwald’s attacks flaring up as he moved.
Suddenly there was someone by his side, the smell of wool and ink hitting him before his eyes could open enough to see who it was. “Tina?” He questioned voice rougher than he could have imagined.
“Percival!” He didn’t know he had ever heard her sound so relieved. He found himself being hugged, gently and in such a way to avoid the worst of the injuries. He raised a hand to gently pat her side, the effort too much to keep it there for long. “I was so scared I thought you had died.”
He blinked at her, watching her concerned expression. “I had to survive...to see you.” He said, tone quiet as he looked at her, smiling for the first time in months.
Patronus - Part 1
“Come on Percy! You mustn’t be thinking of a happy enough thought!” Jade exclaimed, sitting on the desk in the abandoned classroom they often visited at night to practice. Her legs were swinging as she watched a thoroughly frustrated Percival Graves standing in the middle of the space they had cleared, wand raised as a small puff of blue smoke appeared.
“I am. I can’t think of something happier than going camping with Grandpa.” He sighed, walking over to sit beside her, dejected. He found an arm being thrown over his shoulders and he couldn’t help the soft smile. “You know, it doesn’t have to be one memory. It can be multiple. As long as the combined effect is happiness then it doesn’t matter.”
Now that was new, he hadn’t read that in a book anywhere, he had always been told he had to think of one happy memory. “Really?” He asked, still dubious as he looked at Jade.
“Of course!” She exclaimed, getting up to stand in the middle of the room. “For example, I’m thinking about my parents and how happy they were when I got my letter to Ilvermorny, the first time I managed to play a Chopin waltz and...well when I met you.” Jade smiled and looked at Percival before casting the charm, the exultant “Expecto Patronum” filled with joy as a swan flew out of the end of her wand, flying around the room before settling on the desks, moving along them as if they were water.
Percival chuckled. “Ok.” He said, rolling up his sleeves before walking across the room to stand beside her. “More than one happy thought....ok.” He held up his wand, adopting the theoretically correct stance before thinking. “Camping with my Grandpa, sitting in the back garden with my mother, growing flowers with magic and well...meeting you.” He said, smiling at Jade before casting the spell himself. “EXPECTO PATRONUM” He called out, wondering how he hadn’t woken the whole castle with it.
The scorpion that the spell produced was not a surprise. He had always had a fondness for the creatures, and it’s appearance made him smile, especially as it scuttled over to join Jade’s swan.
Suddenly he was being hugged and he wasn’t quite sure what to do about it other than to turn and hug Jade back.
“Thank you.” She said as she pulled away, looking up at him slightly.
“For what?” He questioned, smiling down at her.
“For me being one of your happy memories.”
Percival beamed a little. “You’ll always be one of my happy memories Jade.”
