yeah
No because maybe this is just me but I don’t how people can dislike S2?
Idk I just feel like it sets up S3 really well. Like the whole thing of S2 is that we pretty much get a somewhat new character with Amir being Chad; it’s like “Oh, that’s Amir, we know him and how he is from S1”, but it’s not really, because it becomes really clear that his memories shaped who he is so much that without them he has this different personality entirely. (plus how much Chad himself emphasizes how he isn’t the old Amir Rupert remembers is important because like techincallyyyyy you are but like. Yeah he’s sorta right. He’s not really the same guy without those formative memories) And then, as he forms memories as Chad and as he interacts with Rupert and those around him, we see him change kinda and see how this is affecting, and these experiences just change his character so much, and you can just really see the impact of like the interactions with people around you/loved ones and the memories you make with them
Then comes S3, and we see also the negative side of this, where someone’s memories can affect them so much that they are at the core of their insecurities. Memories can be a crucial part of identity and hold up a person, or as we see with the Despair can be one’s downfall, as the basis of their deepest, darkest worries about themselves and those around them. And then in the finale, we have Rupert, drawing on these memories he has and these experiences that have shaped who he is so much, that it lets him destroy the Despair. And yeah it’s a bit corny, like wow he wins with the power of love, how original, but I just feel like with all this context we get it’s quite sweet and I like what it says about the sheer impact of experiences and the memories they make. Anyway TTP S2 ily <3
No like actually what do you MEAN “…will you tell my mother something? Tell her…I’m sorry I let her down.” LIKE. HUUUUAGH.
For someone who has for years been really into a show that mentions cardinal directions a significant amount, you’d think I wouldn’t consistently mix up East and West. And yet
Hot take I don't call Percy "Percy Jr." because god forbid a guy escape his father's shadow </3
Really like how S2 ep 2 starts with Rupert immediately demanding Amir’s memories back two seconds after he just traded them away. Like literally why did he think that would work even a little
Been thinking about a TGWDLM AU as of late…hmmmmm…
annoying when shows set in the medieval period have the women with thier hair just long and unstyled and out . girl go put on your wimple girl 🤦♀️
like there are so many fun medieval hair and headgear options, it's so boring just seeing loose beachy waves meant to appeal to 21st century beauty standards
put that hot prince in a gay little hood with an ostrich feather or so help me god
have we as a fandom decided between "cecoan" or "jecily" as joan and cecily's ship name or no?
What on Earth is TTP doing in my detective yaoi
Shoutout Chad they could never make me hate you Chad
Been thinking about Percy/Darling a lot recently which is probably only doing good things for my brain chemistry (<-MASSIVE LIAR)
Needy, pleading, desperate
Prince Darling
Darling shot his shot with Rupert
And was instantly rejected.
Just chilling out and thinking about how deeply the Despair comparing Amir to his dad hurt him because of his deep-seated worry that he truly is like his father and like him will hurt those around him stemming from his intense insecurity that lies just beneath the surface of his confident persona and how that was affecting him internally during S1 and remained even throughout to S3 even despite everything that happened. As I do
